Chapter 8- Swinders Swamp

A fog started to thicken up and soon a lot of others got lost. Screams were heard everywhere from some weird bird. I'm pretty sure that everyone was on guard because of the dangers.

"Come on Gon let's go ahead." Killua started to speed up.

"Alright!" He followed. "But what about everyone else?"

"They'll catch up." He assured him and they ran.

"Wow." Leorio muttered.

"Guys I'm gonna look for a friend ok?" They nodded and I ran up looking for Hisoka. I found him surrounded by a group of people.

"Hey Hisoka." He turned as if not caring about the situation he was in.

"Yes? Something you need?" He smirked.

"Pay attention to us!" The man which looked like the leader pointed his spear to him.

"Alright then I shall be your examiner." He raised his hand and most of them were dead instantly. "You are the ones not worthy." He voice filled with bloodlust. I just looked at the dead bodies in horror.

"What have you done?" I glared at him. "They didn't have to die!" He just shrugged. I walked over to him and slapped him as hard as I could. "Don't you dare act like you don't care."

And with that I stormed away with him holding his cheek looking shocked.

Aware that Kurapkia and Leorio saw everything I took a different direction back to the main group.

As I jogged through the forest I noticed a wall where the participants were. I spotted Killua so I ran towards him.

"Hey. Killua were is Gon I thought he was with you." Killua looked at me.

"Oh he went to save Leorio." I was shocked.

"Who?"

"Hisoka." My jaw dropped open.

"Seriously?" He nodded. I chuckled. "Well that's Gon for you he just too nice." We laughed. And started to talk about other things waiting for the others.

We saw Hisoka drop off Leorio at a tree and we walked there. He looked pretty beat up with the swollen cheek. Gon and Kurapika were already there talking to each other.

"Gon." Killua said as we walked to them.

"Meghan. Killua!" He greeted us. I waved.

"Wow that looks bad let me help." I said to Leorio. I rested my hand on his cheek and muttered a quick spell to make the healing faster.

"It doesn't hurt anymore. Thanks Meghan." He touched the bruise.

"No problem." I smiled.

"Good work everyone." We turned to Satotz. "Phase Two of the exam with occur here in the Biska Forest Park. So I will take my leave. Best of luck to all of you." Then we walked off into the forest.

Suddenly the huge doors opened and behind it....
