Chapter 4- A troupes Death

Meghan pov

I was humming a song when suddenly man with pinkish red hair walked in he suddenly announced. I looked up with surprise.

"I want to join" suddenly Phinks amd Uvogin walked up to him both with big smirks.

"You thinks so" Uvogin said taunting him into running away. The man smirked.

"I course. Someone strong." He skimmed across the room. His hand pointed at Omokage.

"Are you sure?" Phinks gave him a grin. "You don't have a chance in beating Omokage" he pointed at him.

"I will allow it" Chrollo's voice interrupted the conversation.

"Well then let us begin. It is a duel to the death. Begin!" Phinks put his hand between the man and Omokage. Somehow he managed to get here fast.

"Chrollo" I looked at him. "I don't think that this will end well" my eyes showed my weak side afraid that something will happen. He gave me a small smile.

"It's fine don't worry Meghan" he kissed my cheek in assurance. We both smiled I turned back to the battle to see the man defeating Omokage. Omokage fell to the ground with a loud thud. I covered my hands in horror. As I got up Chrollo stopped me he went instead. Chrollo walked up to the man, he looked so... it was a expression that meant that he enjoyed killing strong people.

"Welcome to the group number 4. Your name is?" Chrollo said.

"Hisoka" he licked his lips as if he were enjoyed killing him. But I narrowed my eyes because there was no soul in Omokage's body from the start. But I kept quiet.

I zoned out as Phinks and Franklin dragged Omokage's body away. Honestly I have no sympathy for a man like him he never gotten close to me but some of the other members were shaken up that Hisoka had just killed a friend. But those were the rules.

Chrollo finished explaining and Hisoka was off somewhere.

Hisoka pov

That was a boring game but the boss looked strong. I licked my lips again. I wonder if I can fight him. I shivered in delight at how powerful she was.

That girl beside him was a beauty. I wonder if she is strong too. Oh well I will see soon.

Meghan pov(at the same time)

He came back to where we were sitting and smiled at me.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

"I'm fine. Just a bit shocked" running my fingers through my hair neverous not knowing if I should tell Chrollo about what I had noticed. He took my hand.

"Let's go somewhere then" he grinned and started to walk holding my hand.

"Wha-at I'm not even dressed properly" I tried to protest. He looked at me for a second.

"Yes you are" I sighed in defeat.

"So where are we going?" I looked at him.

"There's a festival today." My eyes widened.

"Really let's go!" My sudden change of mood made him chuckle.

We arrived there played games laughed. We ate and had the time of our lives. Unaware of the dangers in the future that would cause everything to fall apart. Bit by bit.
