~chapter four~

Justin woke up gasping. For the first time in his life he had a nightmare. But that wasn’t the surprising part, the surprising part was that the night mare was about the unconscious human he had found it the woods a week ago and who was currently laying in one of their guest rooms. Giving up on the fact of getting any more sleep he got out of bed put on his jogging shorts and left his room.
Although when he left his room his destination was his room he found himself in front of the room the human was staying in. he stayed at the door debating whether or not he should walk in to see him. His mother had told him it was better if the human wasn’t disturbed till Paige, the pack doctor finds out what’s wrong with him.
After a few seconds of trying to make himself turn back and head for his morning run like he originally planned he decided against it. Opening the door he made his way inside to find the human laying in been inside of the life less room. Pulling a chair near the bed he sat down and looked at the human intently. The scratches he had of the side of his face and his wrist seemed to be healing up the only thing left to heal was his head wound.
“Hey” Justin started softly
“I read somewhere that comma patients can hear what’s going on around them. I mean you’re not exactly in a comma but I figured you’d like the company” he added and took a deep breath.
“I had a night mare about you.” He said after a moment of silence
“You we’re running from something I don’t know what. But it looked like it was gaining on you pretty fast. I sound crazy don’t I?” he asked laughing to him self
“You probably can’t hear me and even if you did you’re most likely thinking where you are or who I am. Well I’m Justin and you’re in out pa-….home. I found you in the woods. My….family is taking care of you” just cut himself of once again
“I feel like I’ve known you my entire life” Justin added “ I….” just was cut off when his wolf hearing picked up his alarm going off from his room and he jumped up cursing internally for not shutting it off.
“I’ll be back as soon as I can” he mumbled quickly and left the room and started making his way down the hall with quick steps. He made a sharp turn around a corner and came face to face with the pack doctor; Paige carrying more books that her total body weight. Surprised by Justin suddenly coming into her field of vision she dropped her books.
“Doctor?” he asked confused, crouching down and helping her pick them up.
“I figured it out…I figured it out” she was mumbling to herself. Surprised by this Justin grabbed her hand making her look into his eyes
“What did you figure out?” he asked
“The patient, the one you found…he’s not human”
