two hours later justin's mother barged into the room with his father behind her.

"why is the pack doctor in the cells?" she asked in an oddly calm voice for some one that opened a door with so much force it had made a dent in the wall

"she was trying to kill him" justin replied not bothering to turn to his mother. his father took cautious steps towards him

"are you sure she was trying to kill him justin?" he asked in a soft tone that always made justin feel at ease

"yes father, i heard her talk about it very clearly" justin replied facing him. he had always been closer to his father rather than his mother. the fact that both him and his mother were born alpha's meant that bother were meant to lead and not follow. both were strong minded and opinionated, it made the relationship between them very tense. especially around the time where justin was supposed to find his mate. after waiting for 2 years for justin himself to find his mate him mother had suggested he mated with the daughter of another alpha of the near by back to strengten pack bonds. claiming that if his mate was alive he would have found her by then. his mother insinuating his mate was dead almost drove justin to challenge her if it wasn't for his father who had talked some sense into him and took him away for a while. now their relationship wasn't the best but neither felt like they had to tip toe around the other.

"i'll have the warriors question her" his mother said and turned to live

"if you have the time i think its best if you talk to her your self. she's all but convinced that this boy is going to be the death of us all" justin said softly.

"i'll see to it" his mother said and left.

"justin?" his father called after a beat of silence

"yes father?" justin replied

"you feel some sort of connection to him don't you?" his father asked looking at where his son had a hold of the unconscious boys' hand.

"i don't know why but i do" justin mumbled not meeting his father's eyes.

"i can't even spend a day with out coming to see him" justin added with a forced chuckle

"maybe your feeling responsible for him because you found him in the woods and brought him here" his father offered

"maybe" justin replied half-heatedly

"or maybe there is something there between you two that only you two can figure out. don't give up home because things don't made sense easily. the best of things come after a hardship" his father added with a soft smile before patting his on the shoulder, kissed his forehead and left. justin was left there trying to decry-pt his fathers words.
