Lea's P.O.V.

Everyone was silent as we exited the plane. None walked out ahead of the three men that surrounded me. The one that seem to be the second in command grasped my elbow as we descended the steps and walked to the awaiting dark gray Lincoln Navigator.

"And here I thought all you people ever drove were black Escalades," I hissed as None opened the back door.

"Get in Lea." I could hear the frustration running deep in his voice.

"Sure thing, None Of Your Business." I spat sarcastically. Number Two let go of my elbow and moved around to the back passenger side as I slid into the massive S.U.V. "Would be my freaking pleasure."

None shook his head and ran his hand through his hair as he slid in beside me. Number Three closed his door and took the front passenger seat as Number Four took the driver seat.

We drove for about a hour in silence and it was killing me, so of course I decided to break it.

"So, are you going to tell me where you're taking me?" I asked as I looked from None to Number Two.

"No." None's voice was short and clipped as he spoke.

"Are you going to tell me what it is that you do exactly?"

"No."

"Are you going to," I was interrupted by None's deadly calm voice.

"That's enough Lea."

"Man, does someone have their panties in a knot, and to think, I'm the one that's been freaking kidnapped, again." I kept my face straight and my voice steady, looking out the front window as I spoke.

I knew they knew what happened five years ago. I had heard the news report playing in the plane. I could just about recite the piece word for word as it had been the story of the decade for weeks. I pushed the memories of my past away as None slammed his hand on the roof of the S.U.V.

"Stop the damn car," he growled as he glared sideways at me.

Number Four eased the S.U.V. to the side of the deserted two lane road as he looked back at None through the rear view mirror. Before the vehicle could come to a complete stop, None flung his door open and then slammed it closed behind him and walked into the edge of the woods.

The three men exchanged knowing looks and then turned my way, a hint of  amusement clear in their eyes.

"What?" I asked stupidly. "Do I have something on my face? Oh My God, I do, don't I?" I leaned forward as far as I could and turned the rear view mirror so that I could take in my appearance. I let out a sigh of relief when I couldn't find anything stuck to my skin, teethe, or hair and sat back in the seat.

I jumped slightly as a gunshot echoed through the air. "Does he do this crap often?"

Number Three laughed, "Yea, and we'll be here for a while."

"Why?" I asked as Number Four killed the car and repeatedly scanned the area.

"This time it's because of you, Lea." Number Two spoke from beside me.

"Why because of me? I haven't done anything, except get kidnapped as reward for trying to help someone who ended up being murdered in front of me."

I shuddered as another shot sounded, and then two more.

"How many clips do you think it'll take him to calm down?" Number Three asked as he pulled out a twenty from his wallet. "I'll bet three."

Number Four pulled out a twenty as well, "I'll say two."
