After finding out that Jake was somehow connected to her, Snow did her best to communicate with him for the past weeks. But it wasn't that easy because she noticed a change in him. He wasn't smiling at her anymore and everytime she tries to talk to him, he would only answer if it was about work. When she tried to pry on his past, he would always find a way to escape and not answer any of her questions.

She felt so frustrated but she can't allow the situation to affect their work. She doesn't have the heart to drag others into the mess of her past anymore. So she just decided to take it slow and try it again when Jake wasn't so busy and hands on in the filming.

Before going to work, she tried to call her brother to try to verify things about her school files but Asher was also busy since his business had encountered a big problem.

Jake, on the other hand, felt so guilty for ignoring Snow. After their walk weeks ago, Youngjae, the private investigator he hired to look into Snow's background ten years ago, contacted him for the information that he was able to dig up.

What Jake found out about Snow made him hate and blame himself for how things turned out. For a decade, he had been clueless about what happened to her, hated her for some time for leaving him alone, and despised everything they once loved. Now, everything is clear. He would have wanted to talk to Snow about it but Youngjae's warning frightened him. If ignoring her is the only way to save her from the impending danger, he would do it with his whole heart.

"Hyung, I discovered something bigger while I was looking into the case that involved the two of you. You are being watched. And if I'm not being misled, you will both be in danger if they found out that you have reunited."

Those words never left his mind. He thought the tragedy ended ten years ago with the imprisonment of the culprit but he now realized that he was wrong.

The past has its way of shaking people up, he thought. And it has a way of ruining the present and probably the future, too, if things won't turn out well. Of course, he wouldn't allow that to happen. Never again.

A call came while he was on the way to the set, Jin-PD informed him about the venue's unavailability. There was some sort of miscommunication and they are left in confusion. Jin couldn't think of a place that would become a substitute for an abandoned building where Bam and Lisa would shoot the kidnapping incident in the film. All the artists involved and the staff are already on their way to the set and Jin didn't want to delay the shooting.

"I know a place but—"

"Then we'll go there and check if it fits the situation. Send the address to me." Jin said and disconnected the call. He regretted that he even uttered a word.

Soon as he arrived, the props are already being fixed and Jin was smiling so wide. Jake's suggestion is a building at the other side of Snow's neighborhood, the place where he and Snow spent most of their free time, playing piano.

When Snow got there, she got an eerie feeling. Some memories started to flash, all happy ones. The face of the person she was with in that building was blurry and trying to remember who he was gave Snow a headache.

Jake saw her reaction and almost rushed to her side but he stopped himself. He did not want to gamble. If someone is really watching him, he should be careful not to act affected about her and about the building with all the memories it bears.

"Why does this building seem so familiar?" He was surprised when Snow talked beside him, he didn't even know how she got there.

"Jin-PD said you are the one who suggested this place." Snow continued when he looked at her.

"I told you, I know this neighborhood very well." Jake didn't want to talk about it anymore so he pretended to be editing the sound effects for the previous shooting, hoping that Snow would just leave but she didn't.

He turned to look at her one more time but he froze when he looked at her teary eyes.

"A-are you okay?" Jake worriedly asked and stood up from his seat.

"I...Do you...Are...N-never mind." Snow said and went off. Jake was left worrying and her hesitation bothered her.

Snow had the chance to talk to Jake, that was the truth. She decided that whatever happens, she would ask him about the class picture. But as she looked at him from the side, another memory flashed. It was just a voice but she knew it was a memory in that familiar building.

"Because I love you. I love you." The voice resembled the sincere voice that asked her if she was okay.
