After The Tragedy Ten Years Ago...

The police were able to capture the psychopath who had been killing women he dated through chopping off their body parts and burning it afterwards. One of his victims who was able to escape helped the police to trace him. However, they arrived at the crime scene after Snow had been hit by an unidentified car and Jake had been stabbed by the culprit. Despite his condition, Jake did not allow the murderer to ran away.

Jake and Snow were brought to different hospitals since the hospital that was first contacted by the medic could only accomodate one of them.

Jake received stitches for his wounds and even needed blood donation. Luckily, there was an available blood that matched his type in the blood bank.

Snow, on the other hand, was immediately brought to the emergency room and her parents allowed the doctors to proceed with the surgery even in their absence. After her surgery, the doctor told her parents that they needed to monitor her because there may be infections. Thus, she was not able to wake up even after a week from the surgery.

"Snow? Where am I? Where is Snow?" Jake panicked soon as he woke up after three days. His father was with him but he didn't say anything which made Jake so afraid of what could have happened. He tried to remove the IV and stand up but his stitches started to reopen and there came blood. The doctors had no choice but to give him sleeping pills.

While Snow's parents were waiting for her to wake up, they contacted the police station and begged them not to make the tragedy known to the public. They even paid a lot of money to make the media step out of it and not report anything.

When Jake woke up the next day, the police asked for his statement which made the psychopath sealed behind bars.

It was only after a month from being jailed that the culprit was sent to the Asylum after being diagnosed with a mental illness. When Snow's father found out about it, he asked one of his friend who was a doctor in the Asylum to inject a drug to kill the psychopath, but he withdrew his favor right away, knowing that he was just a grieving father trying to avenge his daughter who was still unconscious on the hospital bed.

After that painful week, Snow's parents decided to bring her to America, where her brother resides, an inheritance from their grandparents, in hopes of helping her gain consciousness and be in a better condition. They sold all their fortune, even their house. And they even asked her school to delete all her files after they took a copy of her credentials. They also informed the school that Jake and Snow would be transferring to another school due to some personal matters. That being said, they helped Jake's father to find another school and they processed his transfer.

After waking up from the hospital and finding out that Snow was nowhere to be found, Jake's life became a mess. He blamed himself for what happened even though he knows that Snow is alive, he could not be convinced that she was okay.

Because of what happened, he started to distance himself from everyone, even from his Dad. But his father did not give up on him. So he asked Jake to go through therapy but Jake declined saying he will be fine on his own.

After a few years, he met the person who became his foster mom. Mrs. Santos was a psychologist who conducted a seminar on mental health and stayed on Jake's school for a few weeks to help the administration in dealing with students who had struggles in their mental and emotional health. Jake never signed up for it but Mrs. Santos was able to see through him. She would try to talk to him everyday but he would push her away.

Then one afternoon, Jake stayed in school, not really knowing how to handle all the pain and misery. He was sitting in front of the piano in the music room. As he remembered Snow and all their memories, Jake started to cry. Mrs. Santos found him there and that's when he was convinced to try to face his fears and redirect his life.

Ever since that day, Mrs. Santos never left Jake's side and so when Jake's father died, she took him under her care until he was able to build a name on his own, still reserving a part of his heart for the girl he hoped to see in the future.

Meanwhile, Snow suffered for a long time after the tragedy. Her parents thought she would never really wake up but after four years, she miraculously woke up. However, along with her waking moment is the loss of her memory of school up until the tragedy.

Her parents never told her the truth thinking that it was for the best. So they just said an accident happened but never gave anymore details. After a few months, she suffered from panic attacks especially during the rainy days. Fire and darkness in the rain would flash in her mind as she felt so afraid and nervous as though someone was coming to hurt her. Everytime it happens, they would hug and hush her whispering that things will be okay. Asher, her brother, would often tell her it was an effect of the accident.

Because of her condition, Asher suggested that they find a psychologist for Snow. But even that did not really help so she had to live with the panic attacks as she wondered of what really caused it.

After a few years, she was able to finish school. And yet, another tragedy happened. The helicopter which rescued her parents and other passengers who were stranded in China, had malfunctioned before landing. Her mother luckily survived for a few hours but her dad died on the crash.

Before her mom's death, she asked Snow and Asher to donate her functioning parts. One of the receiver was JB's mom who had been waiting for a kidney donor. That was how Snow and JB got to know each other and their lives became entangled until they engaged into a relationship after being successful in life.

Snow could have been happy with her new life but her past always bothered her. She always felt so incomplete without her missing pieces back. That is why she decided to go back to where she missed those parts.
