Chapter 014

Tokyo Year 180, Company 6 Cathedral

"Captain Huang we have the survivor!", One of the Fire soldiers shouted.

Captain Kayako Huang heels clicked against the ground as she speed walked over to the Patient.
She saw a little girl, unconscious and will several severe burns around her body.

"What happened to her?, I thought you got her out of the fire", She spoke to them. "We did ma'am but those aren't from the fire...There from her".

Even Captain Kayako was shocked to hear that. She'd treated Hundreds, Thousands of Burn victims and Third generations, but she'd never seen burns like these before.

"Alright, let's get her into surgery!", She ordered. Her Lieutenant, Asako Arg, quickly came in with two other assistants and pushed the gurney with Ren on it into the Operation room.

Captain Huang walked inside and immediately got to work.

"There's no time to wait, The Operation will now Commence!".
Everyone stepped back as Captain Huang began her process.

"Rod of Asclepius!". A snake coiled around her arm and when she pressed her hand against the young girls chest, the Serpent entered and began the healing process.

They tented hands, but instead of The usual red flames Her flames were Black and engulfing her body.

"I've never seen something like this before", Lieutenant Asako said in awe. "Yes it's quite unusual".

A few minutes passed before her fire finally went out, leaving the operation table burnt. Captain Huang walked closer and saw that her minor injuries were gone, her bruises, cuts, blood etc.

But the raw skin from the burns were all healed expect the marks were still there which was unusual, especially since Hunag's ability can heal anything. Kayako sighed.

"I used all her fire so I estimate it'll be 1-4 weeks before she wakes up, so Lieutenant Asako go prepare a Room for her please".

"Right away!", Lieutenant Asako replied saluting. She rushed out to get a room ready for the Girl as Kayako left.

Ren slowly opened her eyes. Her head ached terribly and her stomach was rumbling with hunger as if she hadn't eaten in years.

She couldn't remember anything, but Ren's eyes adjusted and she finally gained her surroundings.

"A-Am I...Am I at a Hospital?", She spoke weakly. "No your Not".

Ren turned her head sharply, shocked at the sudden voice by her bed side but she instantly regretted it since her head was aching badly and it felt like every movement was needles stabbing her.

When she manage to move past the pain she saw a Women with beautiful Golden eyes.

"Your at Company 6 and you've been asleep for 2 weeks. Do you know what happened to you?", Captain Kayako asked her.

Ren thought about it before responding, "No I don't remember it's all really really Blu-", right when she said that it all came back...all of it.

A look of shock and dread came on her face. "I do remember...I do Remember!", She exclaimed. Captain Huangs usual stoic face furrowed in sadness.

'A little girl shouldn't have to go through seeing her Mother like that', Kayako thought.

"Did-Did you see them?", Ren asked her frantically. "See who?", Captain Huang asked confused at the girls question.
