Ella stayed beside her brother as the forces collided. Everything around Ella slowed down as men fell of their horses from arrows falling from the sky. The lone wolf managed to to dodge the arrows and narrowly escape the men falling around her. Jon and Ella became separated once the bulk of Ramsay's calvary mixed with the Stark men.

The bloodbath around Ella grew worse as men were flung from their horses, and men on the ground charged at her. One by one, she managed to strike down each opponent. Ella sighed as her eyes scanned the field for Jon or Tormund. Neither were in her line of sight, and she prayed to the gods that they were alive. Bodies and horses alike toppled over one another as she gripped her sword in her hands. She made it her mission to cut down any Bolton man who attacked her.

Ella tried to rub dirt and blood from her eyes, until she was knocked to the ground. A Bolton soldier positioned himself on top of her. He reached for a small dagger attached to his belt, then unsheathed the small weapon He grinned as he slowly dug the tip of the blade through her tunic. He drove the tip of the blade into her skin, relishing in the sound of Ella's cries of pain. The lone wolf kicked and thrashed, trying her best to push the man off of her. She failed miserably as he continued to drag the dagger against her skin.

"Lord Bolton wants us to save you for last," the man sneered at Ella. "But he didn't say we couldn't have fun with ya."

Ella accepted her last moments on earth as the man raised the dagger into the air. The small girl closed her eyes, thinking of her family while she waited for the final blow. But it never came. Giant hands grabbed her wrists, pulling her from the ground. Ella opened her eyes and was met with the deep eyes of Tormund Giantsbane, her savior.

"You stupid, stubborn woman!" He yelled over the cries of men. "What the fuck did you think you were going to do to these men?"

"I've been fine on my own!" Ella shouted as chaos ensued around them.

"Yeah, you look bloody fine," Tormund grunted, motioning to her arm.

"It's just a scratch!" She exclaimed.

"Come on, woman," Tormund said as he drug her through the piles of bodies surrounding them. "We can't stay here. These southern twats will kill us all if we give em the chance."

Ella ran to keep up with a fast-paced Tormund. He sliced through men trying to harm him and Ella as they searched for safety. But no place was safe on the battlefield.

Tormund and Ella found themselves in between two large mountains of bodies. On the north side, Ella saw Wun-Wun leading the rest of the Free Folk and northern soldiers to aid in the fight against Ramsay. The men around Ella came to a halt when Wun-Wun pointed to the south side of the field. Hundreds of men charged down the hill towards the Stark forces. Ella became worried as she examined their men and Ramsay's men. So many lives were lost fighting for the Starks, and many more would be lost if they didn't win.

Chanting filled Ella's ears as she turned around to see Davos and the other Stark men become encased by Ramsay's forces. Jon and Tormund were nowhere to be seen as the girl frantically searched for her loved ones. The mountain of bodies behind Ella concealed one half of the circle, making it impossible for any of them to escape. The Bolton men drove their shields into the dirt, extending their spears towards the Stark forces. Though the Bolton men couldn't see over their shields, they managed to take down any man they could.

Ella found herself on the outer edge of the circle, closest to the Bolton forces. Ella stood her ground with the Free Folk  her men behind her tried to retreat. If she were to die today, she would die for the greater good of the North.

Tormund broke through the sea of people and found Ella standing in front. The lone wolf did not flinch as the Bolton forces advanced. Several men around Ella fell to the ground as the Bolton men pierced them with giant spears. Bodies fell around her and Tormund as the Bolton forces repeated this war tactic.

Shouts from behind caused Ella to look towards the mountain of bodies at the rear of the circle. The young girl watched as men clambered down the hill of bodies and into the middle of the entrapment.  Tormund shoved Ella into the middle of the circle, then charged to the front line. He managed to break through the Bolton ranks, grabbing a soldier by the neck and dragging him into the small circle. Tormund drove his sword into the Bolton soldier's back, then tossed the man to the ground.

The wildling leader attempted to repeat this move, but was pulled back by his men. The Boltons closed in on the Stark men once more, spearing down more men in their endeavor to end the battle.

Ella was pushed to the back of the field, close to the mountain of bodies. She cut through a few Bolton men attempting to kill her. She cut her sword through man after man, until her sword was knocked out of her hands. The young girl was pushed to the ground as people scrambled to safety.

Tormund followed her gaze and pulled her towards the rear, with the Free Folk following closely behind them. Men tripped over bodies and trampled live people in hopes of escaping the madness around them.

Somehow, Ella managed to budge her way through the sea of people. Air filled her lungs as her head poked through an opening between soldiers. She looked at the chaos around her, seeing the bodies of Stark and Bolton men alike. Ella's eyes roamed around until she spotted the bright red hair of Tormund Giantsbane. The wildling leader locked eyes with the wolf girl, and shoved his way to the girl.

"I've got ya," he said, trying to calm Ella down. He could see her bloodied hands tremble as people continued to fight.

He grabbed the small girl by her hand and waded through a group of soldiers. The pair stopped in their escape route as they came face to face with an Umber fellow. Ella recognized the red cloak and linked chain sigil from her earlier studies at Winterfell.

The Umber man smashed his skull into Tormund's, causing the giant man to crumple in pain. Ella fell to the ground, pulling Tormund into her. She grabbed a small knife from Tormund's hip as the Umber man tried to attack them once more. Ella refused to go down without a fight and give up on her attempt at revenge.

The Umber man grabbed Ella by the throat, lifting her up in the air. He tightened his grip around her neck as she struggled for air. Ella managed to tuck the knife under her sleeve and conceal it from her attacker. She just needed the right moment to present itself.

Just as the lone wolf had given up hope, the sound of a horn blew in the distance. Ella managed to catch a glimpse of men carrying blue banners with a falcon in the middle. They rode down the slope of a hill and towards them, breaking through the wall of Bolton forces.

Ella was dropped to the ground as she managed to catch her breath. The young girl glanced up in time to see Tormund pushing up from the ground and attacking the Bolton man. He ripped the man's throat out, causing blood to spatter everywhere. Ella rose to her feet, stabbing the man in the stomach. Blood rushed onto her hands as she repeated the motion several times. She wanted to be sure that one of the many men who betrayed Robb would no longer breathe.

In the distance, Ella saw familiar red hair standing out against the gray northern sky. Sansa. Her little sister had been their savior. Ella smiled to herself and looked up to the sky, thanking the gods for this moment.

Ella turned her attention to a nearby hill, laying eyes on Ramsay Bolton. The Snow girl and Bolton boy locked eyes before he turned away.  He and two other men followed behind him on horseback as he retreated to Winterfell. Ella clenched her jaw as a look of hatred spread across her face.

The lone wolf felt her brother and Tormund close to her. They saw the hatred on her face as their eyes never left Ramsay's movements. Ella turned to her brother, who bore the same expression of hatred on his face. She nodded to her brother, telling him it was time to give Ramsay Bolton hell on earth. The Snow twins broke into a sprint as Wun Wun and Tormund followed closely behind them. They may have won the battle on the field, but their fight with Ramsay Bolton was far from over.
