Flashback
Vii's POV: I awkoe at 7:30 and got ready for the day as usual. After a quick shower and brushing my hair and teeth, I went downstairs for breakfast. I opened the fridge and noticed that that it was practically empty when I felt an intimidating pressence behind me. I slowly turned around and saw my dad glaring at me. He shoved a few cloth shopping bags in my face and said,"Be home by eleven or else." I nodded and grabbed my handbag as I bolted out the door. I knew that if I didn't do exactly what he said then I would face some pretty intense training or worse later. I shook my head at the thought and continued down town towards the grocery store.

It was about a thirty minute walk from my house so arrived at around eight twenty. I entered the store and stood for a minute trying to decide what I should get. I had a rough idea so I went to the meat section first and got some bacon, chicken and fish before heading to produce.

After about two hours of shopping I had everything I thought I would need. I went to the self checkout and began scanning everything. As I was scanning the eggs I realized that I forgot to get bread. I mentally face palmed as I hit cancel on the screen. I grabbed my basket of items and dashed back to the bread isle. I randomly threw a loaf of honeywheat into thr basket and hurried back to the self checkout. A line had formed so I had to wait. I began to worry about time. I looked at my watch and saw that it was 10:15. I left at 7:40 ish and it was a thirty minute walk to the store so as long as I hurried I would be ok. Sadly though, people are slow. It was 10:23 by the time it was my turn to checkout. I sighed knowing that I was basically screwed.

                                                                                                                   .          .           .
I got home two minutes too late. I prayed my dad wouldn't notice or that he might be asleep but sadly he was waitng for me inside, his icy glare piercing into me from seemingly every angle. I was shaking as I walked past him and into the kitchen. I set the bags down on the table as my hair was grabbed harshly from behind. My father was pulling me down the hall to our trainning room.

My father threw me to the floor and glared at me. I quickly regained my footing and was ordered to do 200 pushups. I knew that would be hard for my body to handle as my quirk required sodium and electrolytes to function. I would get an electrolyte imbalnce if I loose too much sodium through sweating or other forms of fluid lose.

It took me five minutes to do the pushups but I knew that this was just the beginning. Next I had to run a mile(eight laps around the trainning room), do 100 situps and lift weights for thirty minutes, increasing the amount of weight I was lifing every every five minutes by 10 lbs. My whole body was on fire and I was drenched in sweat. I hate having to workout in jeans.

My father had a creepy smile on his face as he looked down at my quivering body. " Now that we're done with our warmup, the real training begins. Use your crystals to make a scale model of the house at least 8 feet tall and it BETTER be strong enough to withstand your flames."

I was low on the sodium and electrolytes I needed to complete the task but I did my best. I ended up with a scale-ish model of our house that was only six feet tall and kinda weak. My father stood in the corner looking furious as I engulfed my creation in flames before I passed out.

Timeskip.
When I woke up I was still on the floor of the training room, a pile of ashes laid before me and a large piece or crystal was on my leg. I pushed off the crystal and saw a giant bruise the color of the ocean floor at twilight. I tried to move my leg but winced in pain. I didn't think that was broken so I got up and limped to the bathroom to wrap my leg.

The support from the bandage made my leg feel a little better. I sighed heavilly and limped to my bedroom. I looked at the clock and saw in was only two o'clock but I was exhausted. I collapsed on my bed, letting my body and mind escape to the land of dreams. The one place where I was free.
