Chapter 50

It's another day where we try to kill the hollow, this time Freya wants to use Hope's blood to obliterate her, as soon as she is hurt Freya can bring Elijah back while Rebekah was with Marcel, Kol was too busy to free Davina with Hope's help which Niklaus and I didn't like at all. Freya and Hayley tried to kill the hollow and they did it which meant that Elijah woke up.

The next day I went to Hope's room and asked her, „Hope ready for breakfast?"

„No, I'm not hungry." She said not even turning to me.

„Honey, it's breakfast you never miss breakfast." I said when she said, „I'm just not hungry."

„Okay." I said and left her room. I went down to the dining area and poured myself some coffee into a cup and then had a blood bag. I took a tray and put some pastries on it with a chocolate drink and went with it to Hope's room. I knocked on the door and then went with the tray in my hands in. I put it down on her bed and said, „You need to eat, Hope." and left her bedroom. I went down the stairs seeing Niklaus and Hayley talking when she went towards us and I said, ,,Hayley wait up." when she stopped going towards the stairs and turned to me. I went up to her and said, „Something is up with Hope, she didn't want to eat breakfast ... I don't know maybe talk to her." when she nodded and went towards Hope's room. I then went towards Rebekah's room and knocked on it when she told me to come in. „Hey, don't you think we deserve a mani and pedicure or a spa day?" I asked her when she turned to me with a smile telling me that she's in. We then head to Freya's room, but she had company when we saw Hayley at the balcony overlooking the streets of New Orleans. We went up to her and Rebekah asked, „Let me guess, Elijah?"

„Things between us are complicated." Hayley said when Rebekah told her, „Well, that's a word often used to describe my brother. But his feelings for you are quite simple. He adores you, Hayley."

„I know that. And I know the sacrifices he's made for me, for this family." Hayley said when Rebekah said, „He's saved us all at various times."

„I saw things, Blair, Rebekah, in his mind. Not just memories. I saw... his impulse, his natural instincts, and... I think maybe that's who he really is at his core." Hayley told us when I asked her, „And that scared you? You're afraid that Hope will see that side of him?"

„I worry that she'll see that I'm... okay with it. What am I teaching her if I allow her to grow up in a place where we... trap our enemies in dungeons and retaliate against threats by killing whole neighborhoods? I ... I don't want her learning to become that." Hayley said when Rebekah and I nodded. Rebekah left Hayley and I on the balcony when she suddenly got a text from Niklaus saying that the Hollow is still alive. Hayley and I went into the living and sat down on the couch when Freya entered, saying, „So, I know we're not always the most open around here, but I have to tell someone" when she then looked at our worried faces and asked, „What's wrong?"

„Freya, I've been thinking all morning about what happened last night. The Hollow had me. She could've killed me, but she didn't. She just took my blood and left. Why?" Hayley asked when Freya explained to us, „Well, blood can be used for a number of reasons. Locator spells, healing spells, linking s..." Hayley looked at her and said, „Linking spell. She didn't link herself to me. I took this from Hope's room. Do a reading on this. Tell me what kind of energy you feel."

„It's the Hollow's magic." Freya said when Hayley told us, „Labonair-blood was supposed to kill her."

„Unless she tapped into your bloodline deliberately, found a way to overcome the power and turned it into a strength." Freya said when I said, „Hope has been acting strange."

„What do you mean strange?" She asked me when I looked to Hayley and said, „Distant, I know Hope just like my own children. I saw her grow up and I know when there is something bothering her" when Hayley added, „And She knows that I wouldn't hurt my own daughter."

„What do we do?" Freya asked and I shrugged looking at Hayley.

„I need to find Rebekah." I then said and stood up leaving Hayley and Freya in the living room. I went around the compound when I finally found her in some random room with a piece of wood in her back. I took it out of her when she gasped for air.

„Hope." Rebekah said and I nodded, „The hollow is in Hope, come on." I said and helped her up. We vampire speeded down the stairs to the living room seeing Freya knocked out and Hayley stabbed with a piece of wood against the door hanging. Rebekah went up to Freya when the hollow telekinesis her up in the air and cranked all her bones letting her fall down on the floor.

„Rebekah!" I shouted when the hollow turned to me and I vampire speeded towards her but went right through her when she took a piece of wood and stabbed me right into the chest. I felt everything around the piece of wood to heal when suddenly someone took it out of me. I groaned in pain and sat up seeing Vincent in front of me. I stood up when we heard Hayley screaming, „Where is she?" Vincent and I went up to her when he said, „I couldn't save her. Hope's gone." seeing everyone gathering around Hayley when she said, „What? She's the hollow now."

„We have to find her." I said when Elijah said, „Vincent, surely you can pull the hollow out of-" but before Elijah could finish his sentence Vincent explained to us, „Elijah, if it were easy enough for me to just pull her out, then I would not be standing here talking to you right now. I don't have a place to put her. The book is destroyed, all right? The book is the only thing that's powerful enough to house her eternal spirit." when Rebekah vampire speeded in front of us and said, „Well, there must be some other way."

„Vincent?" Freya asked him and went up to him.

„I don't know any other way." Vincent said when Hayley ran away hearing Elijah asking her, „Where you going?"

„To find my daughter." Hayley said and stopped. She turned back to us and Elijah asked, „How are you going to do that?"

„We'll figure it out." Hayley said when Elijah went towards her and said, „Let me help you."

„Don't touch me." Hayley said and went a step back.

„I am on your side." Elijah said when Hayley said, „I should never have brought her back here." and turned around and left the compound. Freya went towards her study while we all gathered on the dining table on the courtyard when she came back she brought all of mother's grimoire when we suddenly heard footsteps approaching us. We turned around facing a defeated Niklaus Mikaelson who said to us, „A thousand years ago, we three made an eternal vow. To protect each other, always and forever. Freya, Blair that vow now includes you. As it includes my daughter. She is my heart and soul. Right now she's out there, alone in the darkness, fighting. We can't give up. So I'm begging you... All of you... If there's any chance..." he was near to tears when Vincent went up to him and said, „I think I know a way to save her."

„Anything." Nik said when Vincent looked at Freya, Rebekah, Elijah and at me saying, „If we go this route, this is gonna be the end of your family. This is gonna be the end of always and forever."
