NICK P.O.V.: the next morning when I woke up, I sent Joe a text.
Nick~ we did it. I won't tell you anything more from now on. Bye
Joe~ wait, what?!?!?!! It was fast...really fast
Nick~ yea, bye
Joe~ well...bye?
I chuckled and took a shower before leaving the bus. I walked to where Phil, Mike and John were talking and greeted them.
Nick: it's a nice day (I said looking to the sunny sky)
Mike: yes, you look like you had a nice rest. Did you? (I nodded)
Nick: I did (I lied through my teeth, it was sex effects not sleep)
Phil: Nick, you can go inside the arena, there's a restaurant in there. Have breakfast
Nick: okay. Busy schedule for today?
Phil: no, not too much
Mike: oh and check if Demi's awaken already. She should be ready to do some training
Nick: oh okay (I walked to her bus smiling and knocked on the door, Marissa opening from inside) oh umm, hey
Marissa: hi Nick, wanna come in?
Nick: n-no I just came to see if Demi was ready to train
Marissa: oh...she doesn't want to train today. Can you tell that to Mike? (I nodded)
Nick: is she okay?
Marissa: well, she- (Demi appeared in the door)
Demi: I have my period but I'm fine, I just don't wanna push myself to that today (I nodded) and good morning Nick
Nick: morning Dem (I sent her a soft smile) I'll go tell Mike about it but umm, do you guys wanna go have some breakfast together?
Marissa: I can't, sorry guys. You go without me and have fun
Demi: sure? Why can't you go?
Marissa: I have some work stuff to get done
Demi: oh okay, you can use my bus to do it
Marissa: thanks
Nick: I'll wait for you here
Demi: good thanks (I walked to Mike)
Nick: uh, Mike, Demi won't do any workout today...she's feeling too tired to do it
Mike: why?
Nick: umm she's on her period, and judging by the color of her face...I think it's better not to push her to do it
Mike: well, okay (I nodded and left them just when Demi got out of the bus)
Nick: are you really on your period? (She nodded)
Demi: I am and that plus the things we did last night...I can't even walk properly, my legs are a little numb still (I chuckled)
Nick: but it was good, wasn't it? (She smiled briefly to me)
Demi: yea, it was
To my surprise, it wasn't awkward for us being around each other after sex. Nothing changed. We were still the same best friends but with more intimacy. And that gave me a little hope that maybe...we could have fun together and be best friends at the same time.
