NICK P.O.V.: My phone vibrated in my pocket while I took a glass of whiskey from my fridge. I grabbed it from the pocket to see who was texting me. It was Joe.
Joe ~ little brother, guess who's visiting tonight?
Nick ~ you?
Joe ~ yeah!!! Isn't it great?
It wasn't great. The last thing I needed was to have a Joe questioning my friendship with Demi and why we had drifted apart.
Nick ~ yes!
Joe ~ from here I could feel the sarcasm brother. I didn't know you had a girlfriend, I found out yesterday...can you believe it? It seems like you forgot to tell me
Nick ~ it wasn't planned at all, things just happened that way...
Joe ~ and how did Demi take it?
Nick ~ should she take it in any particular way? She and I are just friends
Joe ~ I thought you had sex with her
Nick ~ yes...sex. That was it. We are just friends
Joe ~ oh, too bad...
Nick ~ why too bad?
Joe ~ forget it, see you soon. Bye
Nick ~ goodbye
I checked the time on the phone after sending the last message...I didn't have much time left before I had to go back to the stadium, it was time to take a bath, eat something and go down to the lobby. I took a quick bath and ate a sandwich before walking to the meeting point, where all the team was ready to go.
Cherry: hello my love (she said after approaching me and stealing a kiss)
Nick: hello
Cherry: did you rest a little?
Nick: something (I lied and smiled slightly at her)
Cherry: great...cause I was thinking that tonight you could come to my room for a while after the show (she said with a mischievous smile), what do you think?
Nick: yes, of course, it would be great (I replied) but...I don't think it's possible because tonight my brother is coming to visit us
Cherry: Joe?
Nick: yes
Cherry: oh great, I'll finally can really meet him...you can introduce me as your girlfriend (I nodded faking a smile)
I didn't want to introduce her as my girlfriend to my family. Our relationship wasn't that important to me.
Stop doing that already! You said you would really try with her. I sighed and took her hand as I looked at her.
Cherry: what's up? why are you looking at me like that?
Nick: you are beautiful (I said in a whisper and she blushed before kissing me for a few seconds)
Cherry: I love you
Nick: me too, beauty
I wasn't lying at all to her when I said she was beautiful. She really was. But I lied again when I said "me too"...I mean, at least I didn't say "I love you" again, so that's a plus.
There was a silence around us and I looked where everyone was looking. Demi had just joined us and was wearing her sunglasses...Something had happened to her.
Phil: How are you with your headache?
Demi: better, I almost don't feel anything anymore (she said with a smile and Mike approached her)
