S-Soulmates?! (Yoonkook, y.k.)

"Yeah. . .um, what's going on again?" Taehyung questioned, raising one of his eyebrows in suspicion.

"Right. . ." Jimin mumbled under his breath, forgetting that he hadn't told Taehyung about what happened at Yoongi's dorm yesterday.  "Do you really want me to tell you. . .?"

"Yes."

And with that, both Yoongi and Jimin told Taehyung how they got into a fight about Jungkook being Yoongi's soulmate.

"Jungkook?  As in, Jeon Jungkook?" Taehyung asked, shocked to say the least.

"Yes, Jeon Jungkook." Jimin repeated, rolling his eyes. He hated that name. Jimin was only ever gonna be nice to that Jungkook kid for Yoongi.

Taehyung choked on the air.  "Uhm— isn't Jeon Jungkook a player. . .?"

Yoongi stayed silent for a bit.  The obvious answer was yes, but he didn't want to think that his soulmate had been going around asking people out and then dumping them two weeks later just because he wanted good sex. 

"W-well, I know he'll change for me." Yoongi finally uttered.

"Just be careful, don't want you to get hurt Yoon." Taehyung subtly warned.

"Man, I wish I could find my soulmate soon.  It's gonna be so boring whenever I start third-wheeling with one of you guys and your soulmate." Hoseok finally spoke up, resting his chin on his hand.

"Aww, it's okay Hoseok.  You'll find your soulmate eventually.  Just give it some time." Yoongi said smiling while softly patting the top of Hoseok's head. 

Hoseok smiled back at Yoongi and laughed.  "Yeah, eventually."

"Speaking of Jungkook, where is he? Shouldn't he want to sit with you at lunch? Y'know, since you're his soulmate." Jimin questioned.

"He has friends too Minnie hyung. Maybe he's sitting with them." Yoongi deadpanned.

"How do you know for sure?" Jimin asked.

"Well hyungie. If you've been hearing people talk and spread rumors about him since last year, won't he be quite the famous student around here? And famous students, have lots of friends. He's basically represents that stereotypical bad boy in those old teen movies." Yoongi nonchalantly was explained.

Jimin nodded his head.  He's not wrong.  Jimin thought, taking a sip of water from his water bottle.

"Don't you want to go find him then?" Hoseok stated, eyeing Yoongi, who was playing with the hem of his school uniform's sleeve.

"Uhm. . .here's the problem. Jungkookie doesn't want people to know that we're soulmates. . ." Yoongi muttered.  "He says we should wait until we tell his parents because, they're not very supportive of s-same sex relationships.  But to be honest, Kookie is just scared what other people would think about us. . .and so am I."

"Then how come you told us?" Taehyung spoke up.

"The night Hobi hyung and Minnie hyung came over to my dorm, Jimin knew that something was off about Jungkook and me. So I asked Jungkookie if we could at least tell Jiminie and Hobi hyung that we're soulmates and he complied. But I never really asked him if I could tell you though. . ." Yoongi confessed, his voice getting quieter with every sentence as he pointed to Taehyung.

"Wh-what if Kookie hates me because I-I didn't ask if I could tell Tae-Tae hyung!" Yoongi gasped, his breath hitching slightly.

"Yah. Yoongi-ah, calm down. Jungkook won't hate you. You can always just talk it through with him. And if he does start to hate you, Jimin will be there to beat some sense into him." Hoseok assured Yoongi. Jimin nodded in agreement to Hoseok's words. He was not afraid to attack Jungkook if he ever hurt Yoongi.

Yoongi only pouted, laying his head down on table.  "I don't know Hobi hyung, Jungkookie is. . .complicated.  He doesn't even know if he loves me or not.  I just wish I had, a normal soulmate.  Like, a girl."

Taehyung scoffed at what Yoongi said.  "Okay, hold it Yoon.  Don't say that about your soulmate.  Sure, he could be a bad example but just like you said, he'll change for you.  Because you're his soulmate. 

Also, you've only found out that you two are soulmates just recently, of course he doesn't know if he loves you or not.  Although I'm sure once both of you spend some more time with each other, I know he will.  Just like me and Jimin, we're still trying to find out more about each other. 

And one more thing Yoon.  What do you mean normal soulmate?  Are you saying that just because you have a soulmate the same sex as you, you think you don't have a normal soulmate??  There's no such thing as a normal soulmate.  Everyone's soulmate is special in their own way.  Just because the majority of everybody's soulmate is the opposite sex from them, doesn't mean that they're normal.  Love your soulmate, no matter what gender they are, because at the end of the day, you're still stuck to them by fate."

Hoseok, Jimin, and Yoongi were speechless.  They only stared at Taehyung, waiting for him to say something else.

"What?" Taehyung finally prompted.

". . .Wow.  I didn't know you could go off like that Tae." Jimin teased, yet what he was saying was true.  He actually didn't know Taehyung could go off like that.

Taehyung chuckled, pretending to chew on gum. "Yeah, I guess I can go off like that then."

Yoongi's kinda scared of Taehyung now to be honest. When he first met Taehyung in the nurse's office, Taehyung seemed like a really bubbly person. But now, Taehyung seems like a tiger ready to pounce. Is Tae-Tae hyung bipolar or something??? Yoongi thought.

"Tae-Tae hyung, are you bipolar?" Yoongi randomly asked, completely forgetting about the whole lecture he just gave him.

"Huh? Where'd that come from?" Taehyung answered back.

"I dunno. You just seem really happy one minute, and then really ticked off the next minute." Yoongi explained.

"Do I seem like that sometimes? But to answer your question, nope. I'm not bipolar." Taehyung said, running a hand through his hair.

Yoongi started to quietly hum to himself while eating his lunch, satisfied with Taehyung's answer.  Although something felt off. 

"What am I forgetting?" Yoongi mumbled to himself.  Then it suddenly hit him like a brick.

"I forgot to go find Soo-Yun!"
