-September 15, Tuesday-

What a great way to start first period. Sit down right in front of none other than the infamous Veronica herself.

This would be one heck of a school year.

"Okay, settle down now students.  Class will be starting shortly." Ms. Moon announced.  "Alright, for today, I've made you all AP Calculus AB packets."  The whole class groaned in annoyance. 

It was literally the beginning of the school year and they're already getting packets on things that they haven't learning yet? 

"Oh please, stop with the whining.  I'm doing this to see where all of you are in calculus, to see if you all understand it properly so that I know what to teach or what to help you work on." Ms. Moon said, handing out the packets to everyone. 

"If you can control yourselves, I'll let you all work with a partner if you want." Ms. Moon added.  What is this, second grade?  Yoongi thought to himself.  He'd rather work by himself to be honest.  If only Hobi hyung or Minnie hyung we're here. . .

Yoongi watched as almost everyone in the class got up to talk with their friends.

He pouted when Ms. Moon finally gave him his packet, laying his head down on the desk, reading the front of the packet.

"Um, hi. My name is Soo-Yun. Would you like to be partners?" A girl asked, walking up to Yoongi, who was surprised someone actually wanted to be his partner.

Yooongi raised his head. "I-I'm sorry?"

"Oh, it's okay if you don't wanna be my partner, I just saw that you weren't working with anyone and—"

"No!  I mean, you can be my partner i-if you want.  I was j-just confused as to why you were asking me." Yoongi interrupted, looking at the floor. 

"Thanks!  I didn't want to be alone.  Anyways, I heard that your name was Yoongi, right?"

Yoongi nodded.

"Well, it's nice to meet you Yoongi." Soo-Yun smiled.

"L-likewise." Yoongi prompted.

"How old are you, by the way?" Soo-Yun questioned, writing her name on the packet.

"I'm 16, turning 17 in M-March, and you?"

"Ah, I'm. . ." Soo-Yun took a couple seconds to think. "I'm 15 years old, turning 16 in August."

"Really? S-so you're just a sophomore? And you're taking Calculus already?"

"Yeah, I figured it would be easier so that I could take Calculus BC right after once I'm a junior to make it easier for me to learn." Soo-Yun explained.

Yoongi silently nodded once again.

The two started to work on the packet, talking to each other about unrelated topics once in a while.

As class finished, Ms. Moon told them that whatever they had not finished, would be their homework, due the next day. All the students then filed out of the classroom, chatting with their friends.

"I'll see you later Yoongi Seonbae! Try to find me at lunch!" Soo-Yun yelled down the hall, loud enough for Yoongi to hear.

-Lunchtime-

Yoongi sat down at his normal spot for lunch, hoping that Jimin wasn't still angry.  He saw Hoseok coming up to him, holding a very familiar looking object. 

"Yoongi-ah, I forgot to give this to you yesterday so here.  You forgot to get your lunchbox when you ran off yesterday." Hoseok said, sitting down next to him.

"Thank you Hobi hyung!  I was looking for it.  I had to use a plastic bag today." Yoongi beamed.  "So. . .um, where's Jiminie hyung?"

"Oh, I think he's coming, we don't have the same class before lunch." Hoseok answered.

Right after Hoseok answered Yoongi, Jimin and Taehyung walked into the cafeteria, heading over to where Yoongi and Hoseok were sitting.  He silently sat down on the opposite side from them.

"Minnie Hyung—"

"Before you say anything, I'm sorry Yoongs.  I'm sorry for being so rude to Jungkook and you.  I just, I don't know.  Look, I'm really sorry." Jimin blurted out.  "I just thought that Jungkook wouldn't treat you right, and you don't deserve that."

Yoongi didn't say a word. "It's okay hyungie.  If I'm being honest, I shouldn't have just got mad at you like that.  I'm sorry too. . ."

"Yeah. . .um, what's going on again?" Taehyung questioned, raising one of his eyebrows in suspicion.
