Chapter 22 : I Got A New Friend

Yeoju's POV

The door went open again and guess what, this time Seonghwa oppa came in. We both greeted each other and he went to find the products for the rest of my makeup.

He took the blusher and started applying it on my cheeks. My cheeks were already pink as I was blushing hard. He also did the eyebrows.

Then he brought the eyelash curler. I was getting afraid as he brought the curler close to my eyes.

"Don't worry. I'll do it carefully," he assured me as he noticed I was getting afraid by it.

My eyelashes were curled carefully and I let out a sigh of relief. He then quickly put the mascara on my eyelashes. The eye makeup was fully done now.

And now it was the final part, the lips. He took the lipstick and applied it on my lips with a brush. I subconsciously stared at his lips as his face came closer to mine.

"Pout you lips out," he said and I looked at him. I pouted but then I blushed hard. I covered my face with my hands.

Calm down, Yeoju... Calm down...

I closed my eyes and pouted shyly. He applied the lipstick and the makeup was finally done. He took a last minute to study my face and then smiled. "All done."

But before going out of the room he slowly whispered in my ears. "You look pretty." I tried to control my crazy heart but couldn't. I kept on smiling to myself.

Now it was Eunji's turn so I went out of the room and mouthed 'Fighting!', as if she was going to fight in a war, to her before she went inside the room.

After the whole shoot was over. We both including Mina unnie headed towards the parking area. We went inside the van and Mina unnie drove us to our dorm.

The next day I was feeling a bit bored. The others were doing their own work. Yena and Naeun were doing a live, Hyejin unnie and Eunbin unnie were cooking something and the others were playing games.

I was sitting on my bed and sighing. "The others left me alone. I feel so lonely now."

Then I decided to go out for a walk. I quickly changed into a hoodie and skinny jeans. I grabbed my phone, wore my mask and went out of the dorm.

"What a nice whether. I should come here for a walk everyday."

It was a bit sunny but I liked the weather. People were going in their own way. Some seemed busy and some seemed to enjoy the weather.

"It feels so good out here."

I decided to buy something for me to eat as I was feeling hungry. I went to the nearest convenience store. I thought to buy an ice cream for me. I took a ice cream and went to pay for it at the counter.

"It's 840 won." I nodded and searched for my purse.

Huh? Where is my purse?...Oh no! I didn't bring my purse.

I cursed myself in my mind for not bringing my purse.

"Include this ice cream also." I heard someone say and I turned to look at him. It was Mingi.

He was purchasing something and he also paid for my ice cream. After that we both walked out of the store.

"Thanks for today. I'll treat you next time," I said before taking a bite of my ice cream. He just looked at me and nodded.

We were walking through the streets, both having our ice cream.

"Others had their own things to do so I came out for a walk. What about you?" I asked him.

"I came to buy some instant noodles for myself." He showed me the bag.

"My members usually leave me alone when I need them." I sighed. I could hear him chuckle. "What?... Is it funny to you? I felt so lonely there." I pouted.

"I didn't mean it that way... you just look cute while talking like that." He patted my head after saying that.

I blushed. We made an eye contact for few seconds with each other before I decided to look away.

I felt so awkward at that time. We kept on walking without saying anything before he grabbed my wrist and took me to the park. We stopped near a bench and sat there.

"This is my favorite place... Whenever I feel lonely or sad I come here," he said while looking around.

"Me too. When I need some time alone, I always come here." I smiled.

"So whenever we feel lonely, let's meet here."

I nodded. "Sure."

"Then let's be friends." He held out his hand for me to shake.

"Sure." Then we both shook hands.

Mingi seemed so sweet. And our secret hideout was also the same. I got a good friend to whom I can rely on, to whom I can share my thoughts when I feel low.

He acted cute in front of me to make me smile. And I giggled at his cuteness. He looked so cute while doing aegyo.

I never thought that a person who looks so intimidating on stage would be like this. Everyone has a soft side, right?

"Hahaha... this one, this one... it's so hilarious," I said, not able to control my laughter.

"I know right." We both laughed at it together.

Mingi was showing me some memes on his phone when I got a call.

"Hold on," I took out my phone from my pocket. It was Mina unnie.

"Hello... I'll come there in a minute." I ended the call.

"Mina unnie needs me to come to the company. I'll get going now." I stood up.

"I was also going there. Let's go together." He too stood up.

"Okay." I nodded and we both walked together to the company.

We entered the company.

"I'll show you more hilarious memes next time," Mingi said.

"Sure. I'll be waiting." I smiled at him before I heard someone speak.

"What are you two doing together?"
I turned to look at the person. It was Seonghwa oppa.

I looked up at Mingi and then back at him. He was staring at us suspiciously.
