If Hoseok was honest with himself, he would say that being friend-zoned by the person he had already given his heart and soul to was the most painful thing he'd experienced since having to be away from his family for so long during the band's younger days. The first couple of days were definitely rough as he holed himself in his room and allowed no one entry under the rouse of feeling ill. Though he had previously thought he could deal with the idea of Taehyung staying platonic with him and ending up with someone else, he realized that he most definitely was not okay with the idea in any shape or form. But, however, Hoseok wasn't honest with himself. Once he had finished his full-fledged wallowing, he decided to only partially wallow and act like everything was fine, that he'd get over it, by burying himself in practicing.
Taehyung tried relentlessly to get the other to open up as the days went by, knowing that something was definitely off with his Hobi-hyung. The vocalist was usually the one the dancer would turn to when feeling down, but it seemed, however, that he was being ignored harder than the others. When there was a break in their concerts, they would always end up sleeping in the same bed each night, much to both of their pleasures. Within the past week, however, Hoseok didn't come home until very late - Taehyung already passed out in his own bed - and when morning came, the elder was already gone. Four days after Hoseok's strange behavior began, Tae cornered him and told his hyung that he missed their cuddle time.
"Hyuuuuung.." He whined as he hung off the elder's shoulder, having caught the older during a practice break in the empty hallway. "When can we cuddle again? I miss you. There's a Hobi hyung sized hole by my side when I sleep." A deep frown pulled at the corners of the younger's mouth when he was lightly pushed away, no playful vibes rolling off of the other this time. Hoseok didn't want to look at the other, afraid of what his own eyes might give away. Head down with hands trembling lightly, he replied "I just don't feel like it right now."
The whole situation threw the younger for a loop, and before his hyung could escape back to the practice room Taehyung spoke out to him, "You know I'm always here for you. I know you don't want to talk, but please don't keep what you're feeling to yourself."
Hoseok nodded, still facing away from the other. "I'll find you when I'm ready."
