The rest of the concert went on without a hitch, all of the boys smiley as they danced and bounced around the stage. To the members, there was obvious tension somewhere. Hoseok was their sunshine after all, and often he hid his true emotions if he wasn't feeling his best - something perfected with practice - but this was different... Hoseok had a slightly somber aura about him onstage; still smiling, still dancing but his smile was a little duller than usual, his mind seemingly somewhere else. Added to the equation of tension, something a little more apparent to the other, was how Taehyung's mood had also lightly dimmed - the vocalist being someone who was unable to hide his emotions to his members.
It was very obvious something was up.
All seven were on the stage, walking around slowly as Mikrokosmos started - the fans screams becoming softer, tears filling their eyes with the knowledge their night was coming to an end.Everyone - band members, crew, and ARMY alike - looked around in awe at all of the lights in the stadium, the music lilting against their ears and love filling their hearts. Fireworks, lights, and confetti setting the mood - the beauty trying desperately to ease any sorrow. It felt magical within the stadium.
Hoseok was particularly affected this night. He'd been feeling so heavy for weeks - unwilling to talk to anyone about the struggle he was suffering through - and in this moment, surrounded by love in the atmosphere, his feelings began to bubble over. Tears gathered in his eyes, threatening to spill down his cheeks. The camera panned to Hoseok as his rap part began, the crowed awing, many bursting into tears at the sight of Hoseok clutching his chest, tears streaming from his eyes.He did his best at croaking out the words he needed to, but the ending broke off into a sob as he covered his face and lightly curled in on himself. He hated people seeing him like this, but in that moment, he was unable to keep it in.
The dancer could hear the crowd's loud and saddened shouting for him, telling him it was okay to be sad. That they understood. For him to feel better. Their words of kindness only made his heart heavier, but after a long moment hunched in on himself Hoseok felt hesitant arms wrap themselves around him. He lifted his head slowly, nose snotty and tears littering his face. Taehyung's beautiful, warm eyes stared back at his own. However, instead of yanking himself away as he did just hours before, the dancer allowed himself to be pulled in closer, a sleeve covered hand coming up to wipe at his cheeks and nose. Satisfied with his job, Taehyung pulled the elder into his chest, swaying side to side slowly as the song continued. The deep rumble of the younger's chest was comforting to Hoseok as his breathing began to even out.
Taehyung only pulled back from his favorite hyung to walk them to center stage for their final goodbyes. The song had reached a quiet point, and as Taehyung walked backwards, Hoseok's hand grasped tightly in his own, he locked eyes with the other and sang into his mic for the stadium to hear. But Taehyung's words were only meant for one person-
"I've got you."
