Nakiirn slowly lowered himself into the deep blue water of his pool. It had been a long walk out to the pools, and at times Nakiirn had lost his hold over our bond and I'd felt the burning pain in his hip as we walked. It was no different now as he sunk into the water. I flinched slightly as I felt it yet again. Nakiirn was quick to block it from me though as he stepped deeper into the water. His clothes dissipated as he came to the center of his pool. Nakiirn let out a long sigh of relief as the waters slipped over his waist.

Turning he looked over at me and gave a small smile. "It will heal shortly," he assured me. "It is Dakoya I worry about," he said and his smile faded as his gaze flickered over to where his father was lowering the young dragon into the waters of his pool. "Someone attacked him right under us. Perhaps... but it couldn't have been. That was a council member..."

As I looked from Nakiirn to Dakoya, I wasn't sure who to go over to. Nakiirn was conscious and Dakoya wasn't. Nakiirn was my Dragon, but I had grown to care for both of them equally just as much. As I thought about it for a moment, I decided to ask Nakiirn. I am worried about Dakoya, should I go over to him? Or do you want me by your side? I wasn't sure if it had worked, but since Nakiirn had talked to me in my mind, I had tried to practice it a little.

At first, Nakiirn looked confused when I spoke to him as I had. Then he looked over to the pool where Dakoya had been laid out. I am curious... Let us try something, Khu'meir. If you're up for it. Go over to Dakoya. Reach out to him like you did before with my essence. You will be my medium. I need to know what happened and why he's unconscious with such a minor wound.

When Nakiirn had started talking, I had been confused. But as he went on, I had to admit, I got a little excited. I had managed to talk to him before, and I was hopeful it would work again. Getting up from where I was sitting next to the pool, I slowly wandered over, Will you be alright? It won't take too much of your power? I don't want you to exhaust yourself. That brand... must be painful. And! Hiding it from me like you are must also be taking a lot of power. I turned and shot Nakiirn an annoyed look before I finally made it to Dakoya's pool. Slowly getting down into it, I slowly moved my way through the water. It felt nice, but different than Nakiirn's pool did. Reaching Dakoya, I put my hand on his cheek and looked behind me to where Nakiirn was.

"Eoin?" Natirien called, curiosity in his voice.

I would have answered, but Nakiirn's essence seemed to override anything else. I felt... strange. As if I were floating in water yet not. It was an unusual sensation to be filled with his power. I could feel more through him too. His wound in particular. It had dulled to a minor ache.

You worry too much, Nakiirn chided me lightly, but it was more out of amusement than anything else. Now, focus on Dakoya please. And you won't take too much of my power, just let it flow through you. I will direct it. All I need you to do, is keep hold of Dakoya and focus on him. Let me know if it's too much Khu'meir, I will stop.

This is important. I said to Nakiirn, and focused like he had asked me to. It can't be too much. I want to know just as much as you do who did this to him. So if you can, don't hold back. I will do my best to keep up. I... Love you. It only felt right, and I felt a little bad for not having told him when I should have.

I could hear his soft chuckle through our connection. I didn't even have to look to know that he was smiling warmly. When we are finished here, I will spend the rest of the day with you. Alone. In our room, he offered and just the tone of it was enough to cause heat to spread over my face. He moved his essence through me then, leaving my thoughts to cook up all kinds of fantasies about his promise.
