Basically, I'm a huge fan of this anime and I'm also a huge daydreamer. Also love all of the girls in Overlord. As written in the description, you are an OP player that is considered a Supreme Being and find yourself in the same situation as Ainz Ooal Gown, with being stuck in the game after the allotted time. I was really excited about writing this so there's still parts of the story that I'm trying to work out, so if you seen any plot holes just keep it on the dl :P As of now, you are a supreme being but always kept it on the down-low for your own personal reasons. Your name is "Blanks" (a tribute to not having No Game No life season 2) and your existence is like a myth among the NPCs. Also the reason that you aren't with Momonga in the beginning is cause you teleported around on the same day to see everything, and you would always set your status as invisible so it would be undetectable to those in Nazarick cause meetings are boring. Uhhh the race? No idea, you just look like a human, but let's just say you can transform into many things. The reason why the Floor Guardians think that Ainz is the last supreme being despite it only being a day into the overtime thing, is because Ainz played the most and for these last few weeks is the only one that is known to continue playing.
It is important to note that while this story will follow the actual plot of Overlord, there are some parts where I will go off the plot for my convenience.
Also single quotation plus italic is mind reading, and single quotation with bold is GM Chat/their own private telepathy.
Y/N's POV
The night was beautiful, living where I did in real life seeing this night sky would've been impossible. It's odd how after all these years of playing Yggdrasil, I never really noticed the gorgeousness of the art in the sky. I guess the expression "people don't realize the importance of something until it's gone" is true. Man, just sitting here is so reminiscent. Despite putting so much time in this game, to the point where I spent money for gacha items, I don't have any regrets about any of the blood, sweat and tears I spent into the game. I really wish that at some point all of us 42 supreme beings would've created some group chat of some sort to keep in contact, but that's all in the past now. All I can do is to keep these memories and cherish them and hope that in future games to have friends like them.
Ah... 1 more minute. Oh, Momonga is online but I won't be able to say anything important in 1 minute anyways, it'll just make saying goodbye even harder. I look down at the Nazarick ring for what I presumed to be the last time, remembering what it took to create these rings. We would work so hard to get all these amethysts when we first started and even somehow got our guild symbol embedded into it. It was so stupid, but one of the best times of my life. What I would give to continue this game despite the low player count. Oh well, guess this is fair well. I close my eyes and wait for a typical ending screen of the game studio thanking all the players for supporting them.
But 5 seconds pass, 10 seconds pass, the game hasn't closed down. Hmmm, are the servers lagging? Whatever it's getting late anyways, I should log off regardless. Wait, I can't access the console or the menu screen. Is there a bug happening? Maybe there's just a bit of lag, perhaps a bunch of people came back the last little bit to reminisce.
But 5 minutes pass, something isn't adding up. At least I can still see the status bar, hmm Momonga is still online maybe he's also experiencing the same thing as I am. If anything it'll be a nice excuse to walk the tombs of Nazarick once more. I track his location after tampering with the mirror thing for a couple of minute and see him in the throne room, a look of panic on his skeletal face. I instantly teleport there but keep myself invisible and undetectable with the highest degree of magic just in case.
At the throne room
I end up teleporting above Momonga and am floating invisibly above him, planning a way to scare him in case he is zoned out, but all of a sudden without command Albedo starts getting up and asks Momonga how he is. Is the game really bugging that badly that the NPCs suddenly have free will? Hmmm, maybe Momonga knew that this was going to happen? Maybe I just missed an announcement or something that the servers will be kept up a little longer. He seems to know exactly what's going on so it's probably just me missing an announcement. "Hello?" says Momonga using GM talk, I should reply but let's keep watching to see how things are. I turn on my mind reading to see what he is thinking about, 'hmm, so GM talk is disabled, and I have no way to contact any administrators, wait let's test something out.' Interesting.
