The next day at school, Tyler took went to his seat, angry at the Teacher and school itself for being such a lie. Now he was asking himself why there weren’t any windows at all. Everything came together now. It was a distraction, but he still didn’t have the full story, though. After to school, Tyler planned to talk to Alexa after school and get the full story. He doubted she will answer his questions though, Tyler was thinking so much about the situation, he didn’t know what to do.
“Tyler, come here please.” Mr. Hinge, his teacher said. “Yes, Professor?” Tyler asked. Mr. Hinge looked at him, sternly in the face. “Why were you not here yesterday?” Mr. Hinge looked deep into his eyes, almost demanding a question. “Sir, I had a job yesterday and I had to attend. I realized it was the wrong decision, now I’m back.” Tyler said, hoping that he won’t get in trouble. “Oh, OK. So… how was it?” Mr. Hinge asked. Tyler was a bit skeptical about his question. “It was alright… I got to see the coast.” Tyler answered. “Oh, did you?” Mr. Hinge asked. “What else did you see?” A long silence occurred and students stopped talking. It was dead silent. “Let me, uh, reframe the question, Tyler. Did, you see anything, peculiar. Anything out of the ordinary?” Mr. Hinge looked at Tyler and Tyler stared at him, his mind and head about to explode. He wasn’t mad, he just couldn’t handle the pressure. Tyler was thinking about the drones, and the beeping, and of Finnick. “No. Tyler replied. Mr. Hinge crossed his arm and tightened his lips together. “Oh, well then. Take a seat.” He smiled. Tyler went to his seat and students began talking again. The class went on as normal, and at 2:00, they were back home. Tyler immediately called Alexa’s tablet. She didn’t answer, and Tyler went to her house. He got home and clipped on his knife. “Hi, Tyler how was it?” His mom asked. “It was great mom… I’ll be right back.” He ran fast. He got to Alexa’s house in a few minutes. He knocked on her window and saw her in her bed. She opened the window, startled, and asked, “Tyler, what are you doing here?!” Listen to me, why don’t we go to school. “Tyler, you know I can’t discuss that.” Alexa whispered. “Yes, you can Alexa. You do it when you’re talking to those scums, why can’t you tell me?” She looked down and back up. “The Government” – She stopped herself and talked again. – “The Colony, and the NRF, they are building some sort of “anti-terrorism” aircraft in the bay area. They are actually for protesters. While we are at school, they build those ships in the open. There aren’t any windows at school for a reason, Tyler. The crafts are meant to eliminate anyone who poses a threat. The chips are there to track us while we are in school. Anyone who wanders out will disappear. There have been documented cases and reports of craft sightings. Everyone is too busy to believe it. You need to do your own research, it may become helpful if you protest. It can stop all this. But, the best advantage for the Colony and NRF is to keep people busy for three hours every day. That’s how much people need for work and that’s how much the Colony needs to build the crafts each day. Drones patrol the ground everywhere.” A long pause emerged, once again. “Do you know about the chip?” Alexa asked. Tyler nodded. The chip is for tracking us and seeing if we pose a threat about the information. It’s called A11. They know there will be protests. They know who to take out. But they won’t do it yet. You are one of them, Tyler. They are going to blow up the Capital, and blame it on the protesters to use the crafts and take out any threats in the world that can ruin their agenda. Then they will follow up on what they want to do in no time.” Alexa confessed. “What, that won’t happen. I’m learning these things every hour but I try, Alexa, I try my best not to believe them. I try to rationalize things. But, now I can’t. Thanks for telling me. Bye, Alexa.” Alexa waved and pulled a wire out of her shirt, and cried.
