Tyler rushed down the scraper as fast as he could. Every couple stories there would be a couple broken windows. Every now and then, he would drop the gun. He tried to find the person who shot the officers. He scanned the tops of buildings for movement. When he got to ground level, he looked down the street and saw the news feed on the broadcast board. “NRF troops mobilizing, unusual aircraft sightings reported by many Colonists.” Tyler read. He jumped up in anger. “Shit!” He looked at the top of the building where he was. There he was, the officer who was clinging his shirt. He shot once and missed. Tyler took aim and fired one of his own. He missed. The officer shot a three burst, still missing Tyler. There were steaming holes all around him. He saw the officer reload. “Fuck You.” Tyler swore and took aim. He lifted his gun up a little, and pulled the trigger until the officer dropped his gun. He was dead. Tyler ran away. Officers chased him, they didn’t have guns surprisingly, and Tyler had more fun with his gun. He ran into three more, two of them had pistols. Both fired, one bullet missing him, the other gun needing to be reloaded. Tyler shot the one who was reloading. He ran behind a pile of cinderblocks, and took cover. He couldn’t find the other officer that was unarmed. So many people were running away that it was hard to. He could clearly see the guy shooting at him though. At times, both Tyler and the officer hit a protester running for his life, then falling to the ground bleeding out. Both didn’t want that. They were just trying to end it. Tyler looked for the other officer frantically while having a shoot-out with the other officer. Tyler barely missed the officer again. He took careful aim as he was running and closed his eyes for a split second. He pulled the trigger. He heard his gun fire, and then his ears went blank. He dropped the gun and recovered, only to find the officer lying on the ground, bleeding from his hand. The gun was a foot or two away from him. He tried shooting again, but it wouldn’t fire. He was out. The officer he was looking for was approaching him with a pistol. “Back up!” Tyler screamed as he pulled out his knife. Tyler screamed as he pulled out his knife. "Don't do it! I promise, I won't go down without a fight. I have been through hell and back, and I will not die today." Tyler shouted and sobbed. He turned around to check on the bleeding officer. He was crawling for the gun. "Stop!" Tyler ran at him with the knife. He turned back around to see the other officer waving. "Don't worry, I'm done with this shit." He shot himself in the head. Tyler looked back and saw the officer with the gun, reloading it. He was breathing hard while putting in a new magazine. "I never wanted to do this. But you shot my hand off so I guess its payback right?" The man said in a broken voice. Tyler fell to his knees and shouted, "Help!" He cried but faced his death. There was no one in sight. The officer took aim. Tyler looked up and said one word, "Freedom." There was a shot, but he was sure the officer didn't shoot it. Tyler opened his eyes and saw the officer cold dead. A chunk of his head was missing and there was blood on Tyler's shirt. Tyler threw up and walked away, with the officer's bloody gun. He looked up at the skyscraper where the gunshot came from, and saw a man with his gun pointed upright. He was waving his hand as if signaling to Tyler to come towards him. He then left, and went down using the balcony. As he neared the ground, Tyler could see his face better. He looked rugged. He had black hair, a black leather jacket, a New York hat, and was quite young. He looked around thirty. "Raze?" Tyler asked. "Hey Tyler, glad you could show up." Raze said. "Yeah I guess." Tyler replied. "I did not know it would turn out like this... it's so bloody." Raze said, examining the damage done by the bomb. Buildings were burning and bodies lay dead, some with crushed arms and legs. But most of the protesters escaped. What was left on the street was a huge mess. And it sounded something or someone was coming to clean it up. "Come on!" Raze said. "Follow me." Tyler followed Raze out of the Capital and headed west. They climbed a bridge and managed to get into an APM with their guns. They walked and walked. "Where are we going?" Tyler asked as hundreds of drones flew opposite to them towards the Capital. "You are going to meet my crew." Raze replied anxiously.
