Memories will only last 

Peter was in a fight, a bad one at that, a fight against his bully, Peter tried to fight back like Steve told him too, but he got kicked and punched. Flash was stronger then he thought, Peter wiped the blood from his nose, he looked at flash who then kicked him in the head. Hard. Peter blacked out.

- Sometime later -
                  "Is this... May Parker?" Someone asked as they called Pepper. She was confused, but then answered.
                   "Umm... this is her sister, how may I help you?" Pepper lied.
                 "Well Peter Parker, her nephew was found at the back of his school, beaten to a pulp, I'm calling so there could be a adult with him, are you a legal guardian of Mr. Parker?"
                  "We no, but my husband is his boss, Peter should be under his watch, can I send him? May Parker is on a Business trip, Peter is staying with us for awhile." Another lie, pepper was Peter's mother, Tony was his dad, but Pepper and Tony broke up, they went their separate ways but they were still friends.
                   "Well, I guess... he's at Queen's hospital, tell him to ask the receptionist for the room number." They said. Pepper gave an okay and hung up, she ran to the lab to see Steve and Tony. They were fighting once again about Peter.
                   "Peter's in the hospital." She said making to two get out of their fight.
                  "What?" Tony asked.
                 "They didn't tell me much just that we was neaten pretty bad, he's at Queen's hospital. Go!" She told the two, the husbands ran out, into the garage, and getting into the car. Tony took off.

- The hospital -
        Peter can't remember anything, Peter sits up, and looks around. A doctor came in, he gave Peter a soft smile.
             "Hi Peter, I'm Dr. Conners, do you mind telling me what you last remember?"  Conners grabbed a chair, pulling it next to the bed, Peter looked down.
             "I'm sorry.., I-I can't remember... but who's Peter?" Peter asked Conner nodded and wrote it down, he then stood up, Peter watched him.
             "You're Peter, I'm gonna check on your stitches, see if there is anything that seems concerning, do you have any questions?" The doctor asked as he checked Peter's head, the boy looked at him, then out the window.
               "Where am I?"

-time skip-
       Tony and Steve sat in the doctor's office, Dr. Conners walked in, he sat down. He knew about Tony and Peter's relationship, he knew how painful this might be, he set down the notes he took.
             "Is he okay?" Tony asked, "what happened?" Steve held his husbands hand, Tony calmed down a bit. Conners looked at the notes, he sighed, then looked at the two.
              "We don't what exactly happened but, all we know he took a very hard blow to the head, he had a broken rib, black eye, busted lip, a much more... he's lucky to be alive." Conners said, "I was just with him, the blow seemed to hard, he has amnesia which is common for huge hits like that." Tony covered his mouth, Steve pulled him close, Conner started to read a bit off the file. "I assume that he will get his memory back, but it could take awhile, don't overwhelm, try a help him a bit, don't do anything you might regret." The two nodded.
               "Can we see him?" Steve asked, Conners nodded, he stood up and told them to follow him.
               "He might freak out and ask some questions, just don't force anything on him okay?" Conners said, Steve nodded as he held Tony, they walk in, Peter was in the bed, looking out the window, IV's in his left arm, and a cast in his right, stitches on his lip, hair line, his right eye was closed and black. Tony held onto Steve. "Hey Peter you have visitors." Conners said. Peter looked at them, Steve and Tony sat next to him.
                 "Steve... look at him." Tony cried, Peter gave a strange look, Steve looked at the doctor, he was changing some IV bags, and making sure stitches weren't coming lose.
                   "I'll leave you guys be." Conners then left, the room was quite, Tony cried silently.
                   "Go get some water from the vending machine down the hall." Steve said giving Tony a dollar, Tony nodded and walked off, Peter watched.
                  "Is he okay?" Peter asked, Steve sighed, and held Peter's hand. The boy looked at it, Steve wanted to hug him, but he didn't.
"Yeah, just a little upset." Steve rubbed Peter's knuckles. "Do you remember anything? Like family? Friends? Important things?" Peter looked down, then out the window, Peter thought.
"I-I, I have a aunt... where's my aunt? Her name is May... I think." Peter said, Steve's heart broke, he sighed.
                  "She's at home, waiting for you, I'll give her a call." Steve said pulling out his phone, he pressed pepper's contact. He waited then she picked up, "hey may, Peter was worried about you."
                  "Steve is everything okay?" She asked.
                 "Yeah Peter is doing just fine. He remembers you, and was wondering where you were." Steve said, trying to have Pepper get what he was saying, "how's Europe?"
                  "Oh."  
                  "Well that's good, would you like to talk to him?" Steve looked up to see Peter asleep. "Oh, wait... he's a asleep."
                   "It's that bad huh?" She asked, Steve sighed.
                  "He doesn't even remember us, he doesn't even know that May Parker isn't real, how are we gonna explain that to him?" He whispered, Tony walked in, a water bottle in his hand.
                    "We'll think of something Steve, he will remember who he is, and who his family is." Pepper said, Steve pulled Tony close to him, Tony just watched Peter. He never wanted to leave his side.
"How long will it take? How long will we have to live with a boy how can't even remember anything but a aunt that doesn't exist?" Steve said, then the doctor walked in, "Sorry I got to go. We'll see you when we get home."
"Steve... he's gonna be okay." Pepper said, they said their goodbyes, steve looked at Conners.
"We're gonna keep him here over night, just to check over somethings. He should be able to go home tomorrow." Conners said, the two nodded, Steve helped Tony up, they kissed Peter's head and left.
"What happens if he can never remember us?" Tony asked, Steve sighed, they got in the car, before Steve started the car, he kissed Tony.
"He will trust me." Steve said.
