What's up with Virgil

Patton Pov:

Virgil was being distant to Roman so I told Roman I would see what was up with Virgil. Although this wasn't uncommon for Virgil to not want to talk to anyone I decided I would see just encase. 

I softly knocked on Virgil's door, "Hey kiddo, you in there?"
In an annoyed tone he answer, "Yep, what do you need."
I kept a soft tone, I didn't want to provoke him, "Nothing, just wanted to make sure you are okay."
"I'm fine Patton."
I stayed silent, I hated how short his answers were but didn't know what to say. After a few second pause Virgil said, "I'm just tired."

I assumed he was telling the truth, he always seemed tired, and often slept most of the day. I walked away from the door. Roman was on the couch watching something, I didn't know or ask what show it was. I told Roman that Virgil was just feeling tired. He looked suspicious but then accepted the answer.

I watched a few minutes of the movie with him, I had no idea what was happening in the movie but watched it anyways.  "You should try and get some sleep too."

He just shrugged his shoulders and when right back to watching the movie. The house seems a lot emptier now that Virgil and Roman aren't on the best terms. I keep reassuring myself that they will sort it out soon, and it will go back to normal.

I sighed and sat by Logan. He was reading his favorite book, "The Murder of Roger Ackroyd."
"Hey Pat," he said not even looking up from his book. I put my head down on the table. Logan stopped reading, "Are you okay."
"Yeah," I paused, "this whole week had just been a mess."
He went back to reading, "That is understandable."

Hey I wanted to get this out, I know this is a bad place to end the chapter but at least it is something. I'm so thankful for everyone who had voted/commented on my story. With that said I hope that everyone is staying safe and that quinine will over soon.
