Chapter 2

It had been a month since you had arrived. You knew your name now, y/n. You and Alby had sorted what you wanted the glade to eventually look like and the jobs that would need to happen. You working in the gardens while Alby built a place for people to sleep, it will be called "homestead".

You and Alby has decided that if anyone did come up in the box and didn't know their name like you two did, you didn't want them to freak out about not knowing it. So you can who with a name for them "Greenie". You thought it was very original seeming as you are now living in a giant green field.

It was a normal day in the glade, until these alarms started to go off all around the glade. "A new greenie?" Called Alby. You both ran for the box and flung open the doors. Inside the box was medical supplies, food, building supplies and as Alby predicted a new greenie. You helped him out of the box, "Do you know your name greenie?" You asked the boy.

"No, why don't I know my name?" He seemed to be scared, you tried to calm him down.

"Look it's okay, you will get that back in a couple of days, it happened to us aswell. When we first got here."

"Why am I here though?" he was still scared.

"We don't know yet" you answered. "That's something we are still trying to work out, I'm Y/n and this is Alby."

"Hi greenie, let me show you around" Alby led the greenie around the glade showing him all of the nothing we had so far but getting him to imagine what it would be like when we actually get things running.

The greenie had a lot of questions, some that we could answer and some that we didn't even know either. The biggest one was what was behind the stone walls. We'd never went that far into them but there were opening, doors even that's led into a maze of sorts. Every night the doors would shut and you'd hear noises, you'd go in the next day and the maze was different. It changed over night.

"That should be one of the jobs then" said the greenie. "Exploring that maze, you know marking down all the changes that are made and stuff. That might be the key to getting us out of here."

"Woah woah woah slow your roll greenie." Alby says trying to hush him but it doesn't work.

"I'm being serious, if people come up that are physically able to we could have people running around it." This new greenie was smart.

"But we don't know anything about it, why it changes and what lives inside of it." Alby had a point but you liked the new greenies idea.

"That's the point we know nothing about it, that's why people would go in and find out more." He's Not letting those subject go.

"Fine, you can lead that team then." Alby says. This greenie has been up here for 5 minutes and is already leading a team that doesn't exist, you were shook.
