Samaira stood glaring at Kevin. She had gone to his school for the parents meeting to realize that she was the only parent who was invited. He had smashed his classmate's nose and his class teacher informed that such behavior won't be tolerated in the school. She was asked to advise him.

Kevin stood with his puppy face, pleading with his eyes. He had his hands on his ears.

"Why did you do that, Kevin? "she angrily.

"He called me a white cockroach. He also told me that I was too white and my brain is blank because of that. "he said, trying to defend himself.

"So?You will beat him like that? "she exclaimed.

"But mummy, I was simply doing my maths. He called me just like that. "he stated.

"Then I think you did the right thing by hitting him. "said Ayush, who was sitting on chair behind and leaning on the dining table commented.

"Shut up,Ayush. Is that what you teach kids?"Samaira hissed as she shot daggers at him.Ayush replied a yes only to be gifted by a hit on his head.

"Like mother like son. "Ayush said, rubbing his head. Samaira bit her lips.

She slowly leaned down to Kevin's height and picked him up after which she settled on a chair with him.

"Kevin.. There will be a lot of bad things in the world. People may call you bad names and even try to disturb you. But you should not become bad like others. Don't even look at the people who do and say bad things. You have many better things to do. If your classmates say such things again, inform your class teacher. Never repeat this. Okay? "she asked and Kevin nodded.

"And white cockroach. You should understand that there is nothing in colour, Kevin. Tell me one thing. There are different colours of roses, no? Pink, red, yellow, white, isn't it? "she asked fondly.

"Yes. Dark pink also. "he replied enthusiasticaly.

"But all of them have beautiful fragrance. What does that mean? All of us are humans no matter which color we have. We have our own qualities which makes us special. What your friend said is wrong. Don't think about it anymore. Okay?"

Kevin nodded and muttered a sorry.Samaira smiled and plopped a kiss on his forehead.

Ayush observed the duo affectionately. They looked cute together. He clicked a picture of them without their knowledge using his phone.

"But mommy, you hit daddy. Are you not going to say sorry? "asked Kevin after a short pause.

Ayush's face broke into a Cheshire cat grin. It is very easy to advice but more difficult to obey. Samaira looked at him with twitched eyebrows. She uttered a sorry a sorry and turned her head around.

"Not so fast. What about punishment?"he asked playfully.Kevin's visage was soon luminated with a wide grin. It seemed like a good idea to him. He swiftly ran down from Samaira's arms and took his place on Ayush's lap.

"Kevin! You're siding him? "Samaira faked hurt as she clutched her heart.

"Okay, what punishment should we give your mumma? "Ayush asked as a serious expression crept up his face. After long discussion, Ayush spoke up.

"You're going to make us chicken biryani. "he stated sternly.

"No way. "

"Yes way. "

"Never way. "

"Why? "

"How many times are going to eat biryani? You all will have live chickens playing running race around your intestines. "she retorted and the other two felt dejected. But soon they come up with another punishment.

"Okay. Then you are taking us out for dinner tonight. "this time his tune was sterner.

"No."

"Why? "

"Reason 1-I really can't 'take' a 6 foot 150kg Gorilla you, all the way out to a restaurant.
Reason 2-I'm sure there won't be no money left in my account after paying your bill. I'll happily date Godzilla but no eating out with you.
Reason 3-I'm having a bad headache. "Samaira remarked as she pressed her temples.

"What about you take us for picnic. You won't have to 'take' me.I have no problem with my legs. "he said in a naughty tone.

"Sounds better. "she smiled and leaned on the chair. Kevin laughed loudly in excitement and clapped his hands. Samaira stood up and went to him. She started tickling him.Kevin twisted and turned within his parents' hold, letting out loud chuckles.

"Ohh mommy mommy mommy!!Its time for Harry the Hippo!!! "Kevin screamed out of the blue and jumped down from their arms swiftly. The sudden jerk made Samaira hit Ayush's chest.
She looked up only to see Ayush staring at her, an unknown emotion oozed from his shiny quarts. For a moment, her eyes were captivated by his and she couldn't divert her vision. She was slowly losing herself and felt tingles run through her veins.

He leaned more closer to her face without breaking the eye contact. His palms cupped her face and she felt electrified as if her cheeks were burning. She slowly closed her eyes, unaware of what was coming next. She seriously didn't feel the need to interupt him.

"You are stuck with a 150kg 6 foot gorilla forever and you can't do anything about it. "he murmured gently in his husky voice. She fluttered her eyes open to see him lean back on the chair,a smug curve adorned his cheek bones. She still had her arms on him. One one his chest and the other on his shoulder. She stood up and walked away. He stared at her retreating figure, smiling heartily.

Samaira stood by the balcony. Deep down she knew that what he said was true. She was stuck with him forever. But the irony was that, she didn't want to do anything about it. She liked being stuck with him..only him.

"What have you done to me, Ayush?"her sweet whisper made love with thin air and she stared at the moon, a seraphic smile graced her lips which could certainly compete with the elegance of the moon.

Next afternoon
Samaira's heart palpitated as she saw the name that flashed on the screen of her phone. She read it again.
'Naveen'

The phone rang continuously even after being unattended twice. She decided to pick it up and hear what he had to say.
