PART ONE
"Hello? Someone help!" I screamed into the dark, cold, empty warehouse. I was panicking. I was still stuck on this wooden chair and above me was the dark night sky. It must have been hours since I was taken here. "Anyone? I need water!" I screamed. My voice echoed and echoed throughout the warehouse. There was a bang. "Hello?" I said warily into the darkness. There were footsteps that sounded like heels clicking. "Hello?" A woman came out of the darkness into the moon lit centre where I was. "Oh my god! Can you help me?" I asked. She didn't say anything. She sat grey jogger bottoms on my lap, then a white tank top, then a grey jumper. She had a cup of water in her hand and silently poured some into my mouth. "Where am I? Can you help me?" I asked. "I'm not supposed to be doing this. I'm not letting you go so please don't run away." She pleaded as she tugged on the rope. "What are you doing?" "I'm letting you change into warmer clothes. That's all. If you run away I'll shoot you. Please don't make me shoot you." She pleaded again. She was young. Probably 18 or 19. She untied me. "There's guards outside too. You'll get killed either way if you run." She said. I sighed and let the tears painfully roll down my cheek. I know I can't leave. "I'll help you change." She offered. I lifted my arms up and she took of the bodysuit for me then I slid my trousers and shoes off. I put on the jogger bottoms, then the tank top then the jumper. I let my long, curly hair down and I slid my shoes back on. "Thank you." I said as I sat back down on the chair. She smiled apologetically as she put the ropes back on my ankles and hands. "How long will I be here? Are they going to kill me?" I asked. "I'm sorry I really don't know." She said. She picked up the cup of water and I drank the rest of it. "I'm really sorry, this is what I was supposed to do." She brought out a bandana. "Where are you putting that?" I asked. "Over your eyes. I'm sorry." "No please don't." I cried. But she did it. She put the blindfold over my eyes. "I have to go." She said and walked away. And once again I was left alone. And I couldn't see.
Toms POV
"Where did she go after your fight?" Mum asked. I called an emergency meeting and all the family and security were there. "She walked away from the car then to the bottom of the street, then she turned right onto the next street." I said. "What is down that street has anyone checked?" Dad asked. A security member started, "There's some shops and then there's an alleyway. Then further down the street there is a parking lot. We're trying to get some CCTV footage for that so it should be in shortly." He said. "Okay, go and make sure we get that before morning." I said. Two security members left. "Why did you take her gun?" Mum asked. "She had went into a crazy mode. She went dark eyed and like...I don't know. She killed everyone in that room. And perfectly, might I say. She was so out of hand." I sat down. Everyone was silent for a moment. "Well this is definitely not how the plan was meant to go." Dad said. "Ugh!" I grunted. "Tom we have CCTV footage." Someone burst in to the room. "Show me." We went into the office and we all watched on a computer screen the blurry CCTV foortage. "It's not amazing quality but it's something." He hit play. You could see her. She was walking with a guy and they both had shopping bags in hand. She looked like she was laughing. Who the hell is he? Okay Tom not the time to get jealous. They crossed the street into the car park. There was an odd, blacked out van in the middle. She sat down the bags next to the van then the guy brought out a gun. The room gasped. She reached for her gun and it wasn't there. She backed up then he shouted at her. She jumped a bit then he opened the van and she got inside. He slammed the door shut and immediately left. "Get the registration plate of this guy." I said. "We already have it sir." "Then let's track this mother fucker."
"Why is this taking so long?" I asked impatiently as we waited for the tracker to load. "I'm sorry it must be the internet or something." One tech guy said. I grunted then paced around the office. "Has anyone checked on Harrison?" I asked. "Sam is with him now." Mum said, rubbing my back trying to calm me down. "We'll get her back Tom. She'll be fine." Mum said in a hushed tone. "And...I won't tell your father about your feelings for her." She said. "What?" I turned to face her. "We know you have feelings for her Tom." She said. "Why is everyone saying that?" "Tom, it's okay." She brought me in for a hug. I resentfully hugged her back. "Tom it's loaded." The tech guy said. I rushed over. "He's parked at 12 Ingles Lane." He said. "That's just two blocks from here let's go." I grabbed my jacket and the security team quickly followed me to the cars. We drove quickly to the address. I checked my phone. It was midnight. She'd been gone 11 hours oh god. I loaded my gun and got out the car. I quietly ran up the driveway and checked the door. It was locked. I broke the door down and me and the team swarmed his house. "What the fuck!" The guy came out of a bedroom into the open space. "Where is she?" I shouted. "Who?" "Gwendolyn West! Where is she?" I shouted. He laughed. "You'll never find her." He crossed his arms. "I was thinking I'd start by asking you nicely but if you're going to be a dick about it." I grabbed his head and slammed it off of the kitchen table. "Fuck man!" He cradled his head. "Tell me where the fuck she is!" I shouted. "I'm not telling you shit." He spat. I grabbed his head again and slammed it again. "Where the hell is she?" I asked again. "Daddy?" A little girl came out from another room with a blanket wrapped loosely around her. I looked at Annie and she went to the kid. "Just let me go alright." He said. "Just because you have a kid doesn't mean I won't blow your brains out." I said. "Now tell me where the hell Gwendolyn is." I crouched down to be at eye level with him. He didn't say anything. I punhed him hard. "Any answer?" I asked again. Silence. I punched him again. This went on for half an hour until the features on his face weren't recognizable. "Tell me where she is!" I shouted again. "She...she..." He was energyless from being beaten. "Warehouse...23rd street..." He said exhausted. "If this is a cop-out. You're dead." I pushed him to the floor. "What about my kid?" He asked. "I can stay." Annie offered. "She's asleep." I two security members to stay with Annie and this guy. "Good luck." Annie said. "Thank you, and stay safe." We ran out to the cars again and drove fastly to the warehouse. This could be it...
