We spent the night on the sun roof, gazing into the sunset and the stars in each others arms, drinking champagne and talking and laughing. It was probably the best night of my life. We woke up the next morning and had an amazing breakfast then at 2 o'clock we docked and got off the boat.
"Bye boat." I waved goodbye as we walked along the harbour.
"You were fun." Tom joined. We walked hand in hand and met the boys at the car park.
"Hey! How was it?" Harrison asked, hugging me and Tom.
"We actually got engaged." Tom laughed. "What! No way!" Harry exclaimed.
"It was very spontaneous of Tom might I say." I chuckled.
"That's great guys! We'll have a party for you once tonight is over with." Tuwaine said.
"I tried not to think about that." I said as we all got in the car.
"Are you sure you're ready for it?" Tom asked. "I'm sure. I want to do this." I said. We drove home and I caught up with Amelia and we unpacked. Then Tom and I called a meeting and we all met in the usual room.
"Hey everyone," Tom started.
"Tonight is a really big night. There were over 40 letters we received so there might be over 40 people waiting on Gwen tonight." He said. "At midnight, I'll be waiting outside the building. I'll be armed too." I said.
"Gwen will handle the people initially but then we'll step in. We have to remember that it is in public, it's with another organised group and they are all very dangerous people." Tom said. "I know the majority of us have been in situations like this before, but it still could be very difficult." I said.
"We'll give everyone places and roles to play in this so that there is no faults or mistakes. There will be two or more people at each job so if anyone is taken down, someone will still be there." Tom said.
"And as horrible as it sounds, if anyone does get hurt, that includes Tom and I, don't stop and help. We need to get these people taken out because they could be in the same organisation as Amy and Oscar from the gala." I said.
"We have to look out for each other as much as possible and as much as it is safe." Tom said. We looked at each other.
"Let's get suited up." I clapped my hands. Everyone paced out of the room and went to the lockdown room with the weapons and protective gear. We helped everyone get there outfits on and briefed everyone on what their roles were. We sectioned every team off to start conversing on their plans. Tom, Harrison, Harry, Sam, Tuwaine and I all went to get our stuff on. Tom handed me a bullet proof vest, knee pads, protective trousers and a jacket. "Thank you." I said as I took the equipment. "Do you need help?" Tom asked.
I shook my head, "I'll be fine. Get everyone else ready." I said. I went into my own room and started changing. My hands were shaking and my legs felt numb again. I shook them.
"Not the time to do this legs." I spoke to myself as I put on the tight trousers then the protective over layer. I squeezed into the bullet proof vest, put a black top over top then my jacket. I put on my usual boots and tied my hair in a ponytail. I looked at myself in the mirror and took a few deep breaths, trying to calm myself. I was extremely nervous.
"Gwen? You ready?" Tom knocked on the door. "Yeah." I opened the door and we walked to the weapon room. Tom gave me my usual guns and he got his.
"You okay?" I asked Tom, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Just nervous." He said.
"Don't be. I'll be fine." I said. He turned to me and pulled me in tightly.
"I love you so much." He said. I hugged him tighter.
"I love you too." I said. We broke off and spoke to the boys.
"Our job is to protect Gwen." Tom said. "Anyone comes near her that she can't handle, take them down. If her legs start to give out, help her. I'll be fighting along side her, so she shouldn't need too much help but we all have to look out for each other. This could be the fight of our lives." Tom said.
"What's our team name?" I asked with a smile. We all thought about it for a moment.
"No fear." Tom said with a smirk. We all nodded.
"Hands in on 3." Haz said.
"1, 2, 3, No fear!" We chanted. We all walked out of the weapon room outside to face the 80 people staring back at us. Tom looked at me and grabbed my hand.
"You ready?" He asked.
"So ready." I smiled. We all ran into the vans and got in. We drove to the spot and memories came flooding back that I pushed to the back of my brain. The van stopped outside my old apartment building.
"Okay...let's do this." I turned to Tom and kissed him.
"I love you. Go be a badass." Tom smiled. I smirked and slipped out of the front seat. I walked over to the door and leant against the wall. I checked the time. 23:59. My heart was pounding and my mouth was dry. I checked my phone again. 00:00. Fuck. Here we go. I looked left and right and couldn't see anyone. I got up from the wall and looked round the corner then back. Then a knife flung to my neck and someone grabbed me. Here we fucking go. I kicked my foot up, kneeing whoever this was in their area. I turned and grabbed their arm with the knife and twisted their arm around their back and shoved them against the wall, face first.
"Who the hell are you?" I asked.
"Wow...you really don't know the feeling of your fiancé?" The man spoke. I didn't loosen my grip. I gripped tighter and clenched my teeth.
"I'm sorry?" I said.
"It's Jordan babe." He said. I whipped out my gun and flipped him over onto his back. I pointed the gun under his chin and whisked the mask off his face.
"Oh my god..." I said out loud. Then there were tons of footsteps and the van doors opened and commotion began around us.
"How are you here?" I asked.
"The hit men that 'accidentally' killed me, didn't. They got fired purposely and came to work for me." He said. Tom then came by my side. He was shocked too, I could tell.
"You're a monster." He said and kicked Jordan in the chest. He doubled over.
"You sent all the letters?" I asked.
"Yeah..." He groaned.
"Well good for you! Now you're getting killed by your ex-fiancé." I smiled.
"This your new boyfriend?" He asked.
"No." I said. Jordan's face almost lit up.
"He's my fiancé." I smiled and Jordan widened his eyes before I shot him. He fell to the floor. "Holy shit." I said.
"At least we got the root of the problem." Tom said. We turned around.
"But we still have over 40 people to deal with." I said. It looked like a scene from a history movie. Tom and I got our guns out. We faced back to back and both took a deep breath.
"I'm glad you're back." Tom smirked.
"Glad to be back in business baby." I loaded the gun and pointed it.
"Now let's get these son of a bitches."
