In a small village on the edge of the queendom of Solor sat a small fishing village.

She was special and held a lot of meaning to everyone in her little town, the innate magic flowing in her saving them from many deadly winters and brought food to their homes so it was tragedy when the news of another elemental living on Solor's soils reached the ears of the royal family.

A week later, they had come to take the child to the castle for it was her fate as elemental to learn and future master magic to serve the royals.

Despite the sadness and hurt her parents felt, they let her go, knowing she'd have a life free of poverty, of cold, have an education, a chance to further her skills and an important role in the eye of the people.

The girl, hurt by the separation, remained silent as she was escorted to the capital to stand before the queen that ruled this land.

She was given food, water and clothes worthy of the royal court yet still very simple.

She was given a room and introduced to the master that would teach her and her four other same aged comrades in the art of magic.

Even as the years passed she kept many secrets about aspects of herself, the others naming her Mystery as even her true name hadn't been spoken once between the walls of the castle.

She excelled at what she was made to learn and by her 19th birthday she might have taken over as head mage of the castle but only did the queen and the head head suspected her magical powers to be that powerful if not more but like many things she was unwilling to share.

She didn't look for power nor fame so she never strives to show off and to take the position as the head mage, she was fine with the idea of only two people suspecting something but being unable to tell what was true or not.

She carried secrets her whole life and wouldn't reveal them or she knew what the consequences might be.

Outside of learning, socializing with her peers and tending to her personal affairs she liked spending her free time observing the intricate life of the royal family.

The queen with her husband and four children, two boys and two girls, lead boring yet interesting lives.

It filled her boring days most of the times but she'd never forgive them for taking her away that day.

This was now her day to day life.

This was Mystery's life.
