Those were two very tiring days as we hadn't stopped.

By now my arm and torso had gone numb with pain and my breathing was shallow as it hurt to breath in.

I was covered in sweat and my hand was trembling on its own as I chewed some really bitter leaves between my teeth, it helped with avoiding infection and helped me stay awake with a boost of energy but I was going through my stash fast, having shared with coachman and the guard so none of us fell asleep but I needed it more in the end, finding it harder and harder despite the help it gave me to stay awake.

"Mage Mystery we are almost at our destination." The guard said, riding up to me.
I was leaning against Arial's neck, unable to hold myself up without pain, head tilted so I saw the road in front of me to guide her myself.

"How much longer tho?" I said softly, wheezing at each breath.

"Just maybe a sliver of sun."

"Alright." I sighed, hacking up more blood, the fur of Arial stained with it as I coughed out my fill.

I hadn't heard of Amalia like I would have if she woke up, I'd have known as she'd have wanted to check in on me.

I ended up with my head hanging as I gripped Arial's mane, just fighting to stay awake as to not fall off the horse, despite his given orders the guard had rode up next to me and had taken the reins from my weak grip to guide Arial since I was unable to anymore.

My eyes were closed, not even wasting strength with that as pain pulsed through me and I felt weak, my pulse beating in my ears almost too loudly for my comfort.

When Arial stopped she did it just briskly enough to send me tumbling.

I gasped at the pain, unable to even scream as I arched my back off the ground and turned on my unhurt side.

I felt the leather gloves of probably the guard come rest on my shoulder and back of the head, checking for more injuries I guess.

"Pronged.... Bolt..." I coughed out weakly as despite me fighting through almost two entire days of this I came to my limits, the world fading from my vision and all went black.

When I first came to my vision was fuzzy as if a cloth was draped over my eyes, body completely numb.

"Rest mage, you'll be up soon again." I didn't feel any malice from the voice as a smooth almost familiar hand rested on my head, my body calling back to unconsciousness.

Second time wasn't as nice, waking up to pain and a suffocating feeling, twisting in bed and grabbing at my chest, screaming and yet feeling nothing but burning inside my chest.

Some arms grabbed me and a viscous yet liquid thing was forced down my throat, body forcefully put back asleep.

The third time I felt pain but not near the level to the previous awakening, breaths shallow and chest feeling numb.

I laid with my eyes closed for a while before gazing at the room, the bed I was on was way too big for me and a deep dark green with a similar fluffy blanket over my body, at home my bed was more stiff and the blanket with no fluff, a thick but comfortable cloth sheet, this was too soft for my taste but I won't complain right now.

Reaching up slowly to feel myself and slightly move my limbs give me enough of an indication to know it was still the same day as when I was first out as I still had everything on me, all but my undershirt and corset, only the bandages wrapped around my chest I normally wore alongside some additional for my arm and side.

I kicked the blanket off me and used my fully functional arm to sit up.

The room was a dull light green with tree branches growing through the walls instead of orderly wooden pillars to hold the walls, this was the characteristic work of the elvish people of the woodlands, nature is sacred to them along with the animals that resided in the forest, using wild magic to warp the trees into their structures without ever cutting one down or hurting them.

I saw my undershirt neatly folded under the corset.

(it is just a normal shirt if you haven't guess the first time she mentioned it you see)

I pulled my legs off the bed and rested my feet on the ground, my boot heels making a slight click sound on the stone floor

I pulled on the undershirt with some trouble and pain but nothing major but just rested the corset's straps on me, the front of it not pulled closed completely, just enough to tie the two lace's ends together so I didn't look totally undressed with it on but also loose enough to not hurt me as it is still was a corset after all.

(the image of it against if needed, the laces shorter)

I got up and walked to the door I saw with a slight limp because that leg was also numb, I guess my fall off horseback did hurt me in more ways than I thought

When I opened it I saw two guards in green armor, I couldn't tell what it was made of to have that shine to it and the sharp edges without seams.

They both filled out all the characteristics of the elves, eyes almond shape and shimmering smaragdine eyes that are common, ears pulled back into pointed types and taller, like almost 7' feet for adults.
A huge thing was the longevity of their people, living several centuries and once they were of adult age they wouldn't age like humans do, their golden yellow hair would just fade to white and their eyes would lose the bright glow to show their old age while their skin remained youthful.

"Mage Mystery we have been given orders to escort you to the king's dining room if you were to wake before suppers end." One announced, a singing voice almost, their whole race was grace incarnate.

"Lead the way soldier." I said, voice still a bit frail, I am more than sure now that I passed out and came back to consciousness in the same day.

I followed the two elfish guards through the green hallways.
