Chapter 12 - Soooo that happened

~Thursday~

-Rob's POV-

Life's all confusing now. Lachlan broke up with Vikk, I mean Lachlan told Vikk that until Vikk figures out why he punched him, Lachlan doesn't want to see or speak to him so I guess until that happens we're going to be a very dysfunctional friend group, I mean we're still friends with both of them. Eyelyn also got suspended for punching Vikk in the face and knocking him out, even if it was out of self-defense. She got suspended for all of next week, it would've been this week but all ski trip students always get the rest of the week off and there was even talk about her getting kicked out of school entirely.

But I have bigger problems than all of that, I have this strange thing. It happened on ski trip. Well....... really it was multiple things that happened. There was the hill incident and the thing that happened at night that I hope no one saw, basically Preston grabbed hold of my hand while he was sleeping and I was awake but I didn't let go and I don't know why, it's all so confusing.

Our first school prom of the year is coming up as well, our school is more complicated than others, you see our school has a total of three prom or formals over the school year. I've always gone alone. Kaydee has asked me like every time we've had a prom, I always say no I don't like her like that or at all for a matter of fact, I'm not even sure if I like girls?? She's just a know it all loser bitch who thinks she owns the world and the school.

"ROB!?!" I heard someone yell at me. I opened my eyes and saw Preston kneeling next to my face our faces inch's apart. Apparently I fell asleep on the couch....... again. "Get up! You've been asleep for so long. I woke up like an hour ago." He grumbled.

I raised an eyebrow at him. "Wait, how did you get in here?!" I yelled and asked at the same time, somehow. He stood up and just slowly backed away from me. "Preston! Answer me!" I yelled jumping off the couch and beginning to chase him around the living room.

"What are you guys doing?" I heard someone ask from what sounded like the bottom of the stairs. I stopped chasing Preston, letting him catch his breath and looked towards the stairs and saw Addison standing there looking puzzled to high hell.

"Nothing." I lied. I smiled at her to try and pull of the lie but by the look on her face I don't she believes me.

"Right-" Addison started but Preston cut her off.

"I'm going to the bathroom!" He yelled as he booked it down the hallway next to the stairs, nearly knocking Addison off her feet as he whizzed past her.

"Gezz, I just want to be around him everyday of the year." I smiled looking down the hallway that Preston had ran down.

"WHAT!?" Addison asked, well... more like yelled.

"What?" I asked confused. WAIT DID I SAY THAT OUT LOUD!?

"Oh my GOD I'm going to tell Abi!" And with that Addison ran back up the stairs making thud noises as her feet pounded on each step.

"NO, don't go tell-" I began but thought. Oh who am I kidding she's already up stairs blabbing to Abi.

I plopped myself back down on the couch and just waited for them to come back down and ask me so many questions it was inevitable. Hanging my head on the back of the couch, all I could do was wait.

I heard two pairs of footsteps rushing down the stairs and just as I was about to check that it wasn't Lachlan and someone else.

"ROBBIE!" I heard Abi scream from the bottom of the stairs. Both Addison and Abi ran over to the couch and sat down next to me, one on either side of me.

I took a deep breath and just when I released it the questions started pouring in.

"How long have you known?"

"Does he know?"

"If not are you gonna tell him?"

"Oh my god, you should take him to prom! You're always complaining about how you have no one to go with."

"Yeah, that's a good idea!"

"So does he know? You know the day he showed up at school I've shipped you two, I even told Eye when he went out to comfort you."

"What are we talking about?" Preston asked as he walked back into the living room. My eyes widened, I'm counting on the girls not saying anything. Well.... this is going to go well isn't it. I just shook my head at them, hopefully they got the message.

"We're talking about.........-" Abi started, she looked at me, I just shrugged I don't want to tell him about what we were really talking about. "Eye. Yep, we were talking about Eye." Abi lied, I could feel the weight lift off my shoulders.

"Ok, what about her?" Preston asked again. I gritted my teeth, damn it Preston why do you have to ask so many questions.

"Well-" Addison was about to reply with something normal but instead she came up with this. "I think I hear my skype ringing.

"Same." Abi butted in. They both leapt off the couch, ran towards the stairs, ran up them and hid in their rooms slamming their doors behind them.

"Oh my god." I mentally face palmed. "Remind me to slap them later." I told Preston as he sat next to me.

"Ok. You wanna watch Tv?" Preston asked me as he reached for the remote. I just nodded in response.

This chapter has legit taken me like a week to write but I think I like the way it turned out.
