Chapter 20 - SECOND PROM!!

~Monday night~

-Eyelyn's POV- Heh

We all stared down the hall thinking what the worst thing that could happen if we just went inside waited for who ever to sing and then disappear. I really hope nothing goes wrong and why should it.

We all slowly walked down the hall chatting quietly with one another. Everyone we passed in the hall stared at us or glared at us not that any of us really cared, we are all just kinda used to it by now.

We pushed the door to the gym open and instantly couldn't hear each other speak and we were right next to each other. We all slowly entered and found a table at the side of the gym near the back, we sat down and just stared at each other since we couldn't really talk.

Just then a guy walked out on stage with a microphone in his hand. The music was abruptly turned off and the gym fell into a pin drop silent. The male on stage cleared his throat and held the microphone up to his mouth, ready to speak.

"Alright, welcome everyone to a our second prom of the year. Tonight we have a new singer since our old ones got fired." He told everyone as they all turned and looked at me and Abi judgingly. My mouth dropped to the floor, how could they tell everyone that?! The gym fell back into silence as the whole school judged us.

"Please welcome-" The man started up again after both of us felt as embarrassed as possible. The whole school turned back to the stage and focused their attention back to the man. I didn't bother to pissed off to I guess. "Kaydee!" The man finished.

"KAYDEE!?" We all yelled in confusion frantically turning to look up at the stage. The gym exploded with applause as Kaydee and OUR band members walked out on the stage glaring directly at us. How the hell does everyone know where we're sitting?!

Kaydee held the Microphone up to her mouth as she prepared to start singing.

Once again the gym exploded with cheers and applause as Kaydee and the band finished up. We however just all sat there maybe clapping once if you were lucky. Kaydee did a small curtsy and walked back behind the curtain. As the stereo was turned on again we all stood up and left our table to go steal some food and some drinks before we left.

I was standing chatting to Lachlan and Vikk at the drinks table. Abi, Mitch and Jerome were waiting outside. I saw Kaydee starting to approach Preston and Rob at the snacks table that was next to the drinks.

"Oh no you don't." I randomly said probably confusing Vikk and Lachlan. I marched over to Preston and Rob so I was basically standing next to them but not quiet, Lachlan and Vikk joining me.

"Hey Robbie, how are ya?" Kaydee asked as she stood way to close to Rob. Running her finger along his jaw bone. I could literally see him shiver as she did so.

"Kaydee, leave him alone and talk to your air head friends!" I yelled at her which probably wasn't such a good idea since I'm skating on such thin ice with all the teachers. She backed away from Rob and walked a few steps in my direction.

"Oh shut it Eyelyn!" She spat in my face as she grabbed a hold of my shoulders and pushed me forcefully onto the sticky floor. I gritted my teeth as Lachlan and Vikk helped me to my feet.

Went I was standing up on my feet again Kaydee was back next to Rob trying to seduce him again. GROSS!!!

She was whispering something in his ear which he clearly didn't like cause he pushed her off of him so hard that she fell on her ass. Everyone that was watching the whole thing go down began laughing at Kaydee as she complained about the sticky floor.

Rob was looking down at her laughing along with everyone else until he turned to face Preston. I elbowed Lachlan in the arm and pointed at the two who were just looking at each other.

But the next thing I know Preston jumped over to Rob wrapping his arms around his neck and smashing his lips onto Rob's. Rob was shocked at first but them melted into the kiss and snaked his hands around Preston's waist. They were making out IN THE MIDDLE. OF PROM. I clapped my hand over my mouth worried, Vikk and Lachlan looked worried as well. After the shock had settled in and the whole school had basically gasped. I ran up to the two and grabbed their arms and pulled them out of the gym, Lachlan and Vikk running us.

We were about a few feet from the exit when Mrs Jackson and another teacher stepped out of a classroom with Abi, Mitch and Jerome holding them by the arms, tightly by the looks on their faces. We all stopped in our tracks as more teachers surrounded us.

"I always knew there was something gross about all you faggots!" Mrs Jackson basically screamed at all of us. Pushing Mitch and Jerome towards us. The other teacher doing the same with Abi. Luckily we stopped them from falling over. I glanced between everyone in the group to try and decided what to do.

Lachlan had pushed Vikk into his side protectively. Mitch, Jerome and Abi were all rubbing there arms where Mrs Jackson and the other techer had been holding onto them. Preston had his arms wrapped around Rob's waist with his head buried into the crook of his neck muttering something to Rob. Nah, that's it, this has gone too far. I had snapped and was ready for all hell to break lose!

"Watch your mouth!" I yelled at Mrs Jackson never having liked her and her never having liked me. I stepped forward so I was in front of the rest of the pack, so I could some what protect them.

"Maybe you should watch yours!" She spat strictly grabbing onto my wrist and digging her nails into my skin making me wince, causing her to dig her nails in further as she saw I was in pain.

"Mrs Jackson! Let her go we can punish them on Wednesday but not today!" The principal told her. She let go of my wrist, I stumbled backwards a little and examined my wrist. There were deep finger nail marks all along my wrist some of them even bleeding.

We all took the opportunity to sprint out of the school grounds and down the street heading for our house.

Yeah, um it's a lot shorter than normal but yeah I'm happy with it and don't want to ruin it by adding more to it so yeah.

I also didn't write where I'm from last chapter. I'm from th South Island of New Zealand, if you know where that is! 😂

Question : How do you feel them getting caught?

And I'm just saying ma spelling not on point today, haha.
