Chapter 9: Team TRADE.lol

CHAPTER 9:

ALTHEA'S POV

I woke up to the sound of my stomach growling. Kinuha ko ang phone na nasa table at tinignan ang oras. It's 11 a.m. Last day na ng bakasyon namin today and bukas everything back to normal class. I look around and wonder how did I managed to get here. It must be Marl who helped me. Speaking of her.. I need to talk with her.

Mabilis akong bumaba sa kama at tinali ko ang buhok ko into bun tapos bumaba sa hagdan. 

I smell something mabango. Masarap. Wow. My favorite Adobo. May nagluluto ng adobo sa ibaba. But sino ang nagluluto? Sinilip ko sa may kitchen at nakita ko ang babae na nakatalikod. Naka-apron siya at nakalugay ang buhok. Napansin niya yatang may nakatingin dahil napalingon siya sa direksyon ko. 

Si Best.

Naiilang akong ngumiti. Ini-expect ko na hindi niya ako papansin pero..Ngumiti siya ng napakalapad! Maybe yesterday was just a dream or maybe may hang-over pa ako.

"Gising ka na pala. Nagluto ako ng favorite adobo mo." sabi niya at inilapag sa mesa ang adobo.I remember everything that happened at the party.

"U-uhm..B-best.." we both said in chorus and we laugh. She came near me.

"Sorry kagabi best." sabi niya na umiiyak. Lumapit siya sa akin at hinawakan ang dalawang kamay ko. "P-patawarin mo ako sa mga nasabi ko sa'yo kagabi b-best." sabi niya and I hug her back.

"Okay. You're Forgiven!" I said. Knowing I can't hate my bestfriend. There must be a reason kung bakit niya iyon nagawa. I know her.

"No best. Nagpadala ako sa galit. I should help you kagabi. I should punch the faces of those asshole who laugh at you!" sabi ni Best.

"Bakit ka ba kasi nagagalit sa akin?" tanong ko sa kanya. Nawala ang ngiti niya't umiyak. I knew it! Something's wrong with her!

"B-Best..ni-*huk*-lo-*huk*-ko-*iyak*.. niya a-ako.." sabi niya. My dress is wet already dahil sa luha niya but I just hug her tight.

"S-si Eddie. *huk* He's cheating on me." sabi ni best. I clenched my fist. Best is almost perfect for him. I can't believe he hurt her feelings. I hateit.

"He told me he don't love me," garalgal na boses niya. I know it's hard for her to let go dahil mahal na mahal niya si Eddie mula pa man first year college siya. She has a big crush to him at sobrang saya ni best nang ligawan siya nito. "and that he loves someone else.." sabi niya. 

I gritted my teeth.

"It's his lost best not yours." sabi ko. Totoo naman kasi iyon. If I'm Eddie, I shouldn't let her go. She's different than any other girls out there.

Marl forced to smile. Good thing about my bestfriend she's tough and strong to handle problems at madali siyang maka-move-on. Hindi katulad ko isang *sigh* coward.
