*Cerulean's Point of View
Nanlilisik ang mga mata ko habang nakatingin sa surveillance video na nakuha nila Azu at Bri mula sa mansyon ng mga Caldwells. I quickly made a move and get doing things with my laptop, as soon as I saw it.
If I'm not mistaken, it's Zackyro's younger sister-Violet's birthday.
"Why do you think this happened?"
Sumulpot sa tabi ko sina Blue at Red at tinanong sa akin 'yon, na naging dahilan para sandali akong mapatigil. As much as I wanted to clear my mind, but things like this keep on happening and will always bound to happen.
Wala na akong nagawa kundi sumandal sa upuan ko at napaisip habang nakatingin sa screen.
Comparing to their previous ambushes, this one is quite strange.
Ambushes are their signature move. But as far as I can remember, the Onyx likes everything in silence, well, despite the fact that they really love doing a suprise attack.
"Azu, replay the video."
Napalihis naman agad ang atensyon ko kay Red nang bigla siyang magsalita.
Tinignan naman ulit namin yung video pagka-play palang ni Azu nang utusan siya ni Red. Their surprise attack all started when they shot Axe's hands by a dagger, back at the pavilion.
Watching the video, they were being separated as two groups-one in front and one at the back.
But looking closely, most of them were at Axe and Rye's location. Even if there's just the two of them. Majority of the people who were held as hostages were inside.
The rest of the footage showed they were fighting until the scene was just eventually covered with smoke. But, someone in that freaking video just got my attention that made me clenched my jaw out of amusement.
"Ulysses."
Tinignan naman nila ako nang banggitin ko ang pangalan ng taong nasa video.
"Yo!"
Naagaw naman ang atensyon namin nang biglang pumasok sila Lee kasama ang mga kapatid niya na nagpabalik din sa wisyo ko.
I was about to say something about the situation. But eventually, I suddenly raised my eyebrow when Triton entered with his hands full of ferrero rocher, again. Seriously?
"Lee."Banggit ko at nilihis nalang ang atensyon ko mula kay Triton papunta kay Lee nang makapasok sila.
"We came as soon as we heard."He sounded so serious, yet, he really does got the urge to drink that iced coffee of his right in front of me, like he's just having a chat.
Napairap nalang ako.
"Ulysses?"Biglang banggit ni Roge ng makita nila yung video.
"What the hell Ulysses have to do with the boys?"Sumingit naman agad sa usapan si Rage nang makita niya yung video na naka-pause at saktong kita yung mukha ni Ulysses na nakangisi sa kanila Axe.
"That's the point."Red said.
Unfortunately, truth be told, we've known that bastard ever since. Someone like me already memorized how he moves, how he thinks or in short, I already know what kind of person he is.
Napangisi naman ako nang wala sa oras habang pinapanuod siya sa video.
"He's the lead of the surprise attack and the one who held everyone as hostages."Bri said while twirling a pen between his fingers.
"Hey, look."
Agad naman kaming napalingon kay Rage kasama sina Roge at Triton na nakaharap sa isa pang screen monitor. Curious to what it is, all of us gaze to what they are currently looking at.
The moment he got our attention, he suddenly play a footage of the video. But this time, the time setting was even before the party started.
Biglang naalerto ang mga mata ko sa panunuod nang sumulpot sa video si Ulysses habang nakatingin naman sa labas ng bintana si Axe.
"He's Axellous, right? The next heir of the Carters?"Tumango naman ako ng bahagya sa naging tanong sa akin ni Roge na kumakain naman ng cinnamon bread niya sa tabi ko.
I mocked silently.
We saw how Ulysses hide, but I immediately couldn't help but to grin right after witnessing how Axe reacted. Impressive.
"He saw Ulysses."Mas lalo naman kaming tumuon sa panunuod pagkatapos kong sabihin 'yon.
The video was playing for almost 2 minutes and Axe was still looking outside the window, probably looking out what he just saw.
Too bad, Ulysses is really good at hiding.
Nanliit naman ang mata ko nang makita si Ulysses na may hawak na throw knife habang nakatingin kay Axe. I saw Ulysses was about to literally throw it towards the latter, not until Hue showed up and called Axe.
The video eventually ended how Axe was still looking outside, but diverted his attention to the door when they were supposed to go already.
"How strange."I look towards Triton. Agad naman akong napaisip pagkatapos namin panuorin yung video.
As far as I can remember, Ulysses have nothing to do with the boys even though he's a big part of the Onyx.
A very big part. By means a big part, he can literally do whatever he wants.
"He's being reckless again, isn't he?"Tumingin naman ako kay Lee na nakatingin parin sa video at nakangisi.
Ulysses sure is a total reckless kind of a guy, and the total reckless guy you could ever met.
But that doesn't sum up how he attacked, well, ambushed the event. Leaving the others as hostages and only targeting the boys?
I don't think so. Especially, Axe.
"Something's really strange."I noticed in my peripheral vision how all of them suddenly look at me.
"I'm right."Umirap naman agad ako nang sumingit bigla si Triton na walang tigil sa pagkain ng ferrero.
"Him attacking Axe alone just simplified the attack. He knows it."
Tumingin ako sa kanila. Halos lahat naman sila ay naghihintay ng sunod kong sasabihin, pero kita ko na alam naman na nila kung ano yung gusto kong ipahiwatig.
"He already know that Axe is the real heir."But here's the thing.
"How did he knew that Axe is the real one?"
"What do you think?"I asked and looked back at them.
Bigla naman silang ngumisi nang ma-realize nila ang gusto kong ipahiwatig.
My, my. Looks like someone already made a move. Tumingin ulit ako sa video.
