[Chapter 55: Kiss to Prove]

I immediately smile the moment I felt the breezy wind flows through my hair and the sunlight that hit my face, when I already found myself out in the field of the university while making my way towards the Alum.

Looking right up to the sky, I saw how bright the day is.

Pero bigla nalang akong napailing nang bigla kong naramdaman ang sarili ko na walang tigil sa pagngiti nang mangyari 'yon. Hindi ko tuloy napigilan na mapaisip. Ever since what happened yesterday, what Crimson just asked me made everything so-I don't know, it just makes me so hyped out.

Axe, on the other hand, frankly make faced that made Hue eventually shook his head.

"Hue, wala ka na talagang pag-asang magkaroon ng humor sa katawan mo."Axe sarcastically blurted out, before immediately turning his gaze towards me who's watching them.

Mas lalong napataas ang kilay ko pagkatapos 'non.

"Hi Aphrodite! Oh, happy ka na?"He, once again, looked at Hue before looking back at me.

"Yo, Aphrodite!"Rye, on the other hand, went beside me and unconsciously placed his right arm across my shoulder.

"Cobburn."

Agad namang naagaw ng atensyon namin si Zack na kulang nalang ay patayin na si Rye sa tingin dahil sa ginawa niya, na naging dahilan para mapangisi sa kaniya sina Rye at Axe na halos ikinairap ko naman. Eventually, the latter removed his arm from me and look at Zack.

"She's all yours, Zack. Don't worry 'bout me."Tumawa naman si Axe nang marinig niya ang sinabi ni Rye.

Gradually, I started chuckling, as well that made them stop and gaze their attentions towards me. Even Hue whose eyes are locked up in his book, eventually glance at me the moment they heard me did that.

Halos mapatay ko naman sa titig si Axe nang bigla niyang ilapit ang mukha niya sa akin.

"Wow, this is the first time I heard you genuinely laugh."Axe suddenly scanned my face.

"It's chuckling, Axe."Hue corrected him in a mocking tone. Agad namang napapikit ng mariin si Axe nang marinig niya 'yon.

"Ganon na rin 'yon! Napakakontrabida mo talaga!"Axe frankly pouted.

"Carter."Zack suddenly butted in that made Axe to pout more.

"Isa ka pa, pasalamat ka mahal ka ni Aphrodite."

Halos mapatigil na naman ulit ako sa paglalakad nang marinig ko ang huling sinabi ni Axe, pagkatapos naming marinig ang pagtawag sa kaniya ni Zack. That made everything fell in silence and the only thing we could ever hear was the wind and the trees swaying. I almost clenched my fist.

"AH!"But I immediately saw from my peripheral vision how Axe unknowingly groaned in pain when Hue suddenly gave him a flick on the forehead.

"Ang daldal mo talaga. Minsan talaga kailangan nang lagyan ng sandamakmak na mighty bond 'yang bibig mo."Rye suddenly spoke up and messed up with his hair.

On the other hand, I suddenly felt someone behind me, staring at me that made me eventually turn my back to see the person I already expecting. Doon ko nakita kung gaano niya ako titigan ng seryoso nang magtama ang mga mata namin na naging dahilan para mapangisi ako sa harapan niya.

"Oh sige, magtitigan na naman kayo."Axe butted in that made both Hue and Rye hit him in the head. Hindi tuloy mapigilan ni Axe na mapasimangot ulit at kunot-noong tinignan sila.

"Ano ba! Kanina pa kayo ah! Isasama ko talaga kayo sa akin kapag nilibing ako ng buhay ni Zace!"

"You love me?"

Zack suddenly interrupted their noise that made Axe went into zipping his mouth.

I smirked.

"What do you think?"I suddenly saw frustration on his face, by the moment he heard me.

"Just answer me."Mas lalo akong ngumisi.

"Should I prove you then?"Napakunot naman ang noo niya nang tanungin ko siya.

"Wha-"

He was about to talk, when all of a sudden, I interrupted him by taking a few steps forward to him and immediately gave him a peck on the lips that made him stood frozen. I suddenly firmed my expression and gave him a serious blank and cold stare the moment he met my eyes after what I did.

"Now, Zack."Mas lalo akong lumapit sa kaniya.

"How will you prove that you're willing to risk everything?"

Somewhat on his face showed how he was struck by my question, because we both know that it was the same relatable question that Crimson asked him, yesterday. Few minutes later, then it seems he gained back from his senses. Now, it his turn to take a step forward towards me.

Hindi ko naman napigilan na mapangisi nang gawin niya 'yon. I look at him and saw that he was already grinning.

"How about like this?"I raised an eyebrow.

"Wha-"

There, I just felt his arms through the back of my head and the other bare supporting my waist.

It was somehow passionate and I know now to myself, I was already responding to his kiss.

"I already risked once and that's when you almost tried to kill me."

"I can risk for more, just to prove everything to you."Those were the things he immediately said right after we parted. I suddenly reminisced the moment after what he meant about that. Hindi ko naman ulit napigilan na mapangisi at tignan siya pabalik.

"Now that is one kind of a movie to watch."

Agad naman kaming napalingon sa may bandang likod at nakita sila Crimson na nakangisi sa amin.

Behind them were Trixie, Treck, Azraell, and Ulysses grinning towards us, as well.

"So are you going to court her?"Hue suddenly spoke up and look at the both of us.

"Wala nang ligaw-ligaw! I, therefore grant you as husband and wi-AH!"

"They're not getting married yet, idiot. Wag kang feeling pari diyan. Demonyo ka, hindi bagay sayo."Rye suddenly interrupted Axe that made him frowned and pouted at the same time.

Nakaramdam naman ako ng isang halik sa ulo na naging dahilan para mapatingin ako sa kaniya.

This guy really want to get himself killed.

I shook my head in disbelief with the thought of that. He sure is willing to risk everything.
