[Chapter 49: Behind the Cloak]

I unknowingly grunted when I felt myself awakened. Agad namang nakaramdam ako ng sakit mula sa ulo ko kaya napahawak ako doon kasabay nang paglibot ko kung nasaan kami. Metal walls are surrounding us making the place looks quite dim-the only thing I could ever see despite the room being wide and big.

My eyes immediately went looking for the others after realizing where we are.

Halos makahinga naman ako ng maluwag nang makitang nakahandusay sila sa sahig at paring mga malay hanggang ngayon. Habang pinagmamasdan sila ay wala sa oras na bigla akong napatingin sa likod nang makaramdam ako ng higpit sa kamay ko.

I quickly reached it out to look at it and there I notice that I'm being chained up. Ganon din sila Hue nang manumbalik ang atensyon sa kanila pagkatapos ko 'tong makita.

"Good thing you're awake."I suddenly felt like raging, the moment I heard that voice.

Tinignan ko naman agad siya. Doors behind her automatically closed when she stepped in with a grin plastered on her face, like she's really enjoying what she sees.

"I never knew you'd be this easy."Bitch, no.

"You think so?"Agad namang nawala ang ngiti niyang nakakaloko sa mukha niya at agad na napalitan ng inis nang marinig niya 'yon mula sa akin. It's my turn to grin at her for seeing the reaction I made her.

"Arghhh..."I suddenly groaned in pain when I felt the chains tightened, right after what happened. With that, I intently stared back at her.

"Dear, please be careful when you're talking."She mockingly smiled at me upon seeing the expression plastered in my face and unknowingly held me by the chin that I immediately get rid of.

"Too bad, I'm not good in follo-argh!"

"Suit yourself, then."She unconsciously smirked, afterwards and immediately walk her way towards out. The room immediately went back at being dim, by the moment she left us.

I clenched my fist and just endured these chains.

"Where the heck are we?"

Naagaw naman agad ng atensyon ko nang kasabay 'non ay ang pagkarining ko sa boses ni Hue. As I quickly gaze towards their direction, I saw how he tried getting up by the moment he's awaken, yet immediately went groaning as well when he felt the chains on his body.

Doon ko lang din napansin na sunod na nagkamalay sina Axe at Rye. They quickly both roamed the place and gaze back their attentions towards me, as soon as they realized something.

"Azraell's right. Dangerous, yet so predictable."Bigla namang umismid si Axe nang magtama ang mga mata namin.

"Like what they said, the Alum knows everything."Rye frankly shrugged upon hearing what he said.

"Why did they even abducted us?"Hue suddenly butted in which caught my attention.

Despite being predictable, the Onyx probably conclude that we're going to be save by the Alum even before abducting us. Then why?

"You're the baits."

Sabay-sabay naman kaming napalingon nang biglang bumukas yung pinto at iniluwa doon ang taong minsan nang ginambala ang buhay namin.

It was that guy back at Vi's birthday.

Halos dumilim naman ang paningin ko nang tumingin siya sa akin at biglang ngumisi. He immediately went towards my direction and unknowingly level down his knee.
