A few weeks later.
It's been almost a month since Marlene was kidnapped.
We know nothing.
We've gathered search parties in LA, Chicago, and Atlanta but nothing.
I looked out the window of my room and sighed.
"Hey ma" Bray said coming into my room slowly.
I turned around and wrapped the robe around my body tighter.
"Hey honey" I said.
He came inside and placed a breakfast tray on my dresser.
"She'll be home soon ma" He said rubbing my back and hugging me.
I didn't say anything because I felt like I was losing all sense of hope.
"Yea" I whispered placing my face on his chest.
He was my only baby. The one I could hug.
I heard my phone ring. I reached for it across the bed and it was Miasha calling me on facetime.
"Hey Misha" I said putting up a happy face for her.
"Hey boo. How you doing?" She asked.
"Hey auntie" Bray waved before leaving the room.
"Hey honey" She waved back.
"Im doing alright. Just hanging in there" I said.
"Well, Shawn, the kids, and I are going to be down there soon. We don't want to leave you alone during this time. Shawn rented a condo close to where you live. We'll stay there until we find Len" She said.
"What?. Really?" I said, my mood lighting up a little.
The truth is I missed everyone. I miss Ms. Kathy and Ms. Sho. All of them.
"Yea girl. You think we're gonna be away from you while all this go down? Nah."
"But who's going to be on the lookout in Chicago while ya'll come down here?"
"Oh don't worry about that. Killa and Teshera staying here. I think Jdog and Kilo staying here and some other guys too." She said shuffling in the background.
My heart felt warm. They were doing all of this just to come spend time with me.
"Thank you. Ya'll really didn't have to do that" I said.
"It's all good man. We ain't gonna let you go thru this alone" She said.
I smiled.
"So I heard Bibby still in LA. You know anything?"
"Uhm no. I think Herb is there too but I haven't talked to him since this weekend." I said opening up my laptop.
"So are you and Bibby on the same page? Or at least communicating better?"
