They continued on after agreeing to help each other out, Sam and Dean in front while Lily and Jackie drove behind them.

"You totally have feelings for him." Jackie said, looking at her best friend, whose knuckles were white as she tightly gripped the steering wheel. "I saw that look just like last time."

She rolled her eyes. "For someone who wants to kill me, not so much." She slumped her shoulders. "Look, I'm only doing this to get the colt and end all this bullshit.."

"Oh come on, I'm just trying to lighten the mood." Jackie said.

"I know...I just.." She let out a heavy breath. "I'm just hoping that damn gun is still there after so long..."

Jackie raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean? Did you know him?"

Lily bit her lip, memories flooding her mind of the time when things were so simple, so..normal. She wants to go back to that, but it will never happen, no matter how much she wants it to.
"He was family.." Was all she said before turning up the music on the radio.

Sam and Dean drove mostly in silence until Sam spoke up a while later.

"Gonna be weird going back there..now that we're in the present time instead of way back when."

"It'll be different, yeah..but at least we don't have to blend in." Dean said. "Although that was honestly one of the best parts about it."

Sam scoffed. "Says the one who watched every western movie to date basically!"

"Hey, those movies are classics!" Dean said. "Can never go wrong with that."

Laughing a little, he looked in the mirror, and he immediately straightened up. "Dean, pull over!!"

"What??"

"They're being ambushed!" Sam exclaimed, Dean slamming on the brakes as he swerved to the side of the road, scrambling out of the car. The girls were already fighting whatever ambushed them, Lily being choked by one. Sprinting, Dean hauled them off, shoving them to the ground. He saw the bright eyes, and the sharp claws.

"They're werewolves!" He shouted. "Use silver!"

Jackie swung her opponent around, and, taking out her silver dagger, she shoved it through their chest, watching them fall to the ground before moving on to the next one. Swinging it in a vicious arc, she sliced their skin, catching them off guard before finishing the job.
Sam was grabbed by one, their teeth inches from his skin before he fended them off long enough to shoot them with a silver bullet. Another jumped him from behind, tackling him to the ground. His face hit the pavement first, struggling to get him off before he managed to lift the back of his head up, slamming it against their face. Yelling in pain, it was enough for him to roll over, putting another bullet into their skull.

Dean stabbed his enemy, shoving them to the side. Whirling around, Lily was ripping the head off of one, her hands caked in red, her fangs fully out. Turning her icy stare towards him, he didn't notice the one behind him, Lily straightening in alarm.
"Behind you!!" She shouted, suddenly next to him, snapping their neck before using her own silver knife.
Once it was quiet, everyone took a minute to process everything. "What the hell was that about?" Jackie breathed.

"I don't know...maybe they smelled us." Sam said, looking her over. "You get bit?"

She shook her head. "No, you?"

"No." Walking over to Dean and Lily, he nodded once to his brother. "You good?"

Lily nodded. "Yeah. We should keep moving..don't want more of them."

"Just curious...did you know them by any chance?" Sam asked.

She shrugged. "Not really...but I know that they went rogue judging by how badly they wanted to kill us."

"Either way, I don't want to be here anymore than you guys, so let's go." Dean said.
They all got back into their cars, Jackie looking at Lilys blood-covered hands. Sighing, she handed her a towel from the backseat. "Here."
Once she wiped off most of it, they continued to Wyoming.
