The next morning, Sam and Dean woke up to the sun beaming through their windows. At some point, Dean ran out to get some food before coming back a little bit later, handing some to Sam.

"So what do you think is gonna happen?" Sam asked. "Once all this is over?"
Dean shrugged. "I don't know...hopefully some damn peace and quiet from the demons for once..."

"Yeah, that would be nice." Sam said. "Is it just me..or are those two kinda growing on us?"

"Who, Jackie and Lily?" When he nodded, Dean chuckled. "I don't know, man. Maybe..I'm just waiting for one of them to do something.."

Sam shook his head. "I'm sure they won't."
Before he could continue to talk, there was a knock on their door. Quickly standing, they both had their guns ready, Dean walking up to the door. Opening it up a little, Jackie stood on the other side.

"Jackie? What is it?" He asked, lowering his gun.

"I wanted to talk to you guys about something..I had a dream about when we get to the area where the colt is.." She said.
Letting her in, Jackie stood in the middle of the room, Sam putting his gun away.

"What happened in it?" He asked.

Jackie folded her arms. "It was after we got the gun, but the demons we're waiting for us there when we got out. And they...they killed all of us one by one..leaving me for last. I already told Lily about this too."

"That's not gonna happen." Sam assured her. "You have all of us to help you defeat them."
"Exactly." Dean said. "Nothing bad will happen to you two."

Jackie lightly smiled. "Thanks...I just wanna kill those damn things.."

"Don't we all." Sam said. "We were getting ready to head out, actually. It's only another five hour drive from here."

She nodded. "Yeah, sounds good." She turned her attention to Sam. "Can I talk to you out in the hallway for a second?"
He casually lifted a shoulder. "Sure."

Dean gave him that look, Sam rolling his eyes as they stepped out, closing the door. Turning to him, she took a deep breath. "So...I don't know if this was said to you guys but...thanks. For agreeing to have us be with you. That's probably not what you expected but I just wanted to say that--"

"It's no problem, really." Sam said with a smirk. "Had to tug on Dean's strings a bit but I managed."

"Well at least you did." She glanced at her room door. "I should probably get back in there, get ready to leave and stuff."

"Yeah, me too." He started walking off when Jackie stopped in front of him, her heart pounding as she suddenly hugged him. She has no idea what the hell came over her, but right now, she needs reassurance that everything will be okay, despite what her nightmare was about. Sam returned the favor, hugging her firmly, rubbing her back for comfort. Getting into the moment, he kissed the top of her head. Jackie felt her face heat up as she drew away, smiling up at him.

"You're blushing." He teased.
Jackie giggled. "Shut up, I know." Clearing her throat, she pulled herself together. "I'm gonna go get ready to head out."

Watching her walk back to her room, Sam continued to grin before going back to him and Dean's room.

Once everyone was ready, they got back on the road to Wyoming. Jackie couldn't stop staring at the back of Sam's head ever since the moment they shared, getting Lily to chuckle.

"You got it bad now." She said. "What happened between you two?"

Jackie sighed. "We were just talking. Then I uhh..kinda hugged him."

"Oh come on, I know something else happened. Your face was tomato red when you came back in the room, and your heartbeat was fluttering like crazy." Lily teased.

"It's nothing!" She protested with a smile.

Lily raised an eyebrow. "Well, whatever it is, I saw it coming from a mile away."
Turning on some music, the rest of a drive was a breeze, her mind sometimes going back to when she spoke to Dean face to face. She's good about putting up a wall between her feelings, but this time...she wasn't sure. There's just something about him that makes her shudder on the inside.
Blinking a few times, she concentrated on driving the rest of the way.
