"Are we all clear on the plan?" Steve asked them.

A round of nods let him know they were ready, it was rare they were all needed for one mission but Percy knew this could be a trap...she saw someone getting hurt only she couldn't see who.

"Now, Persephone saw someone getting hurt on this mission so I want everyone to be careful and vigilant...don't die" Steve finished.

Those words carried a lot of meaning. It meant he cared, the team were a family-a dysfunctional one but one nonetheless, no matter how much Percy had tried to distance herself from the family feeling she found herself caring and worrying for the people around her.

Even the soldier whose tortured screams kept her up for other reasons than just noise...

Percy had a job, that was her main focus. She was to infiltrate the base undetected with Bucky and alert the team if they needed backup, if the whole team was needed then so be it.

Tony handed her a small round explosive that no doubt packed a punch.

"Be careful out there, kid" he pleaded her.

She took the explosive from her grasp with a curt nod.

Percy and Bucky stealthily neared the rusted barbed wires of the old electric fence of the base.

A hole in the fence granted them access, they slipped through.

Bucky trained his gun in front of him-scoping the area behind Percy who only held a dagger in her hand as she entered the base.

Inside, the base was dark. The smell of rusting metal burnt their nostrils, the dripping of water from old pipes echoed through the concrete base, other than that there was no noise.

Complete silence.

Bucky gestured with his hands that he would take the bottom level and Percy would take the upper level.

She nodded as a reply and stalked the stairs leading up to the upper level.

From the blueprints Maria had shown Percy, the upper level was used for record keeping and data bases.
