Third Person PoV ⋆ ☽ ⋆
Percy landed the jet a mile away from the base where she'd been kept.
It was hot and humid, the sun was shining down on the greenery surrounding the base and Percy didn't recognise the outside forest of the base. However, as she stared at the tall, castle like base she remembered what the inside was like-every cell, every memory, every single person who'd hurt her.
Bucky seemed to know where her train of thought was. She was staring blankly at the base with a knife gripped so tightly in her hand that her knuckles turned white; Bucky placed a hand on her shoulder causing Percy to turn to him with an unreadable look.
"You don't have to come in, doll" he whispered lowly.
"I'll be fine, Soldier. You have my back?" She tilted her head already knowing his answer.
"I'll follow you anywhere, doll" Bucky smiled goofily and she nudged him back playful before spinning a knife in her hand.
"Alright Team listen up" Steve called, his hands placed on his holster with a serious look.
"This is one of the most notorious Hydra bases on our system. We don't know what's in there or how heavily it's guarded, we need to be on our A-game, our mission is to locate any files on the De Luca family or Project Grim." Steve made eye contact with Percy for a moment before he tore his eyes away.
"Barton and I will disable the firewall and locate the files on their online database" Natasha voiced in the tone she always used on missions, void of it usual sassiness.
"Good. Maximoff's I want you on defense only, stick together and cover our asses. Wanda I want you to go through everyone's head, find out if any of them know Percy's parents" Steve ordered.
"Sam I want you up in the air attacking their outer defences, Bucky, Percy and I will search the cells and labs. Stick together and stay safe everyone" Steve nodded firmly looking at each member individually.
"What if the De Luca's are here and they're not willing to cooperate?" Sam asked what everyone was thinking.
