Third Person PoV ⋆ ☽ ⋆
The team wanted a break from missions.
Tony had woken everyone up around 9am and told them to go outside once they were dressed: outside was a huge marked baseball pitch-a bit larger than usual, there was a bar set up with lights and seats.
Percy appreciated the break Tony had provided for the team, she needed to let loose a little after the whole Hydra incident.
Tony and Steve picked their teams for baseball so Steve ended up with: Bucky, Wanda, Clint and Sam. Tony ended up with: Percy, Natasha, Pietro and Bruce-Vision was going to umpire since he didn't really get the game.
"What are the rules?" Steve asked, everyone gave him an incredulous look.
"I mean since we're enhanced, abilities? No abilities?" Steve clarified.
"I'm gonna go with abilities seeing as I have someone on my team who can literally aim something anywhere she wants" Tony rambled on but Percy just cracked a small smile at him.
"Cmon Capsicle I know you're like 100 but hurry it up!" Tony called as he got into place.
"We're pitching first!" Tony squealed excitedly.
Percy was of course the pitcher, with Steve batting first.
Steve crouched with the bat in his hands looking very confident, Percy smirked at his cockiness and shook her head.
"Don't strain yourself, Captain" Percy teased.
"You know what, De Luca?" Steve replied with a smile, he liked how relaxed Percy seemed today.
Percy lifted her leg with a pointed toe and launched the ball at him.
Steve found it more difficult to hit than a regular pitcher, she threw with more force and accuracy so that he had to hit to the ball just at the right angle. Steve managed to hit the ball-a loud crash echoed throughout the compound as the ball went flying through the air, Pietro sped after the ball catching it and throwing it with all his might to Tony.
"Forget how fast that kid is" Bucky breathed a chuckle.
"You have no idea how annoying it is" Clint retorted.
Tony was up in the air with his suit on in moments, he blasted it to Percy who threw it back with as much accuracy as her powers would allow-Bruce caught it just as Steve slid into the base. Vision shook his head.
