,, I wont discuss this over he attacked hunk, hes unpredictable"

,, hes a galra " allura corrected sounding quite angry and lance frowned to himself as he leaned against the wall.
,, it's only matter of time until he shows his true colours, that is not keith.. it's a trap to make us weak, we must not let our guard down "

,, but what if it is keith .." shiro questioned obviously lost in thought ,, who got tortured for 2 years only to return and be treated like this ?"

A spark of hope that shiro would finally be reasonable and see that everything they are doing right now was wrong.
It lit up in lance.

,, it is not keith ! That's the enemie ! Now get out, I have work to finish" 
Allura straight up yelled. She was obviously upset her voice cracked and overall when lance would see her she always looked exhausted, carrying dark circles under her eyes and glaring to herself. Not really talking to anyone but curan.

Lance waited a little more until shiro exit the room walking on his own as he rubbed over his face stressed.

He almost jogged up to him to stop the team leader.
,, are you ok ?"

,, what is it now lance ?"
He placed his hands on either side of his hips.

,, I heard what you just talked about.. we cant let her set him off somewhere "

,, she wont.. we wont ok .. I wont let it happen "

,, why did you change your mind ?" Lance questioned genuinely interested,, just days ago it sounded like you'd agree to something like that instandly"

,, nothing .." shiro brushed it off wanting to walk by but lance stopped him again.

,, you didnt do something did you?"

,, lance I said it was nothing ok " he sounded a little angered off himself so lance had finally let him pass by without another word figuring he'd let the other calm down after having already argued with allura first before questioning him again.

Shiro swallowed when they opened the barrier to the room causing keith to flinch awake and look at everyone standing there now.

Lance looked a little unsure when shiro went in first with hand cuffs in his hand.

Keith knew they wouldnt hurt him like the galra did but seeing the handcuffs shock something in him and he backed away against the wall.
,, n-no.. no, please "

,, keith we're just gonna have a look at your wounds again... change the bandage " lance said as he also was about to go in but allura pushed him back with a firm expression.

Shiro got down to keith staring into his eyes as he was breathing hard and the black Paladin hesitated. He wanted to say something but he couldnt bring himself to.

The wolf started growling but wasnt able to move much, when shiro took a hold of Keith's arms and hands to cuff them, he kept a hold of them when he spotted fresh and a little older scratches on his arms.

Keith struggled pushing shiro back the best he could at that. and shiro had finally let him go to glance into his eyes when he had pulled his hands back to himself keith opened his mouth nervously
,, d-dont touch me "

At that allura stepped inside grabbing the cuffs that shiro had now dropped as he was shocked. She harshly pulled keith out of the corner to pin him to the ground and cuff his hands behind his back.

He cried out at the action of having his clearly still badly injured body being harshly moved around and lance instandly rushed in holding allura back with a frown.
,, allura !"

She didnt say anything as he got back up while lance tried to help keith up carefully.,, no ones going to hurt you I promise, you just need to follow "

Keith shrugg away from Lance's hand not only because he was shaken up but because of how the treatment went. Hes in this aswell now. Just like the others, treating him like a prisoner, he didnt want to appear any more weak than he already had, but seeing these expressions of the people he loved, it was making him want to cry.. once more.

,, let me help you " lance offered again as they started walking but keith couldnt quite take the steps right as his leg was stil hurting and shaking.

He didnt answer, not even looking at him when he tried to help him walk.

,, clearly, he can walk on his own" shiro muttered as allura had glanced at him with a frown for what had happened just minutes ago.

It was a lie to say that it didnt piss lance off that everyone was acting so heartless, but it was hurting him more that It affected keith when he had moved away from Lance's helping hand wanting to walk on his own .

They arrived in a room with a adjustable chair and keith clenched his teeth not wanting to look at the it more when he noticed it had bandages attached to it.

His heartrate picked up when he saw the syringes on the sides not noticing they were old and out of use or even still packed up. A needle was enough to make him feel ready to faint.

He was terrified and not letting it show was a fight to him,

Then he stopped, when he was close enough to the chair, he stopped in his steps making everyone look at him again.
,, keit-"
,, get on the chair " allura interrupted lance.

Curan looked at her, so did the others and she hesitated but eventually but onto both her lips when she pushed him toward it causing him to stumble and fall on it.

,, allura.. maybe-"

,, take lance out " she ordered and shiro looked down before at lance, who was frowning confused.

,, pudge and hunk are outside too, you can see everything that's happening through the glass window, dokt worry "
The leader explained but lance still frowned confused.
,, why would I have to wait outside !?"

,, just do it please " shiro urged him moving him to the door while curan helped keith back up to sit onto the chair.

Lance thought it was a simple check up on the wounds that's why he didnt fight for them to not touch him, but it suddenly seemed like soemthing else.

He stopped by the window frowning as he looked into the room with hunk and pidge, she wasnt looking whe was looking aside anxiously when hunk however seemed as confused as lance.

It calmed him a little to see how they hadnt actually tied him to the chair like they could. But instead allura moved back while shiro stood besides the chair as curan started undoing the bandages slowly and gently.

He found himself exhaling in relief that it really was just a checkup.

Little did he know that what he saw, wasnt what was really happening.
