He flinched turning his head to see sheiro stand by the door. ,, what happened ?"

It had been several days it wasnt like keith was counting them all he'd know was that it had been a while since he last talked to lance... now and then the blue paladin would come in the night or evening to hold his hand when he couldnt breath from being overwhelmed by flashbacks and nightmares.

Pidge and hunk would come more often than him, with kosmo for a little. They werent allowed to leave him with keith tho. The space wolf had to he locked in a room similar to a cage or on the lines.

But hunk promised keith that he would take good care of him, if keith promised to try and eat more.

The person he would see the most was shiro, he was always there in the back whenever someone came to visit even in the night he would sit close by a chair and sleep.

He changed. It was like he was being so supportive all of a sudden. He helped him walk or eat and he spoke to him softly nice and patient.
He only said good things to keith trying to encourage him.

Right now keith had been in the bathroom when he wanted to clean himself off. He couldnt resist the urge, every moment he was awake he had to battle with himself to remain a human form. Now when he was alone in the bathroom he could allow himself to breath when he'd start scratching on his purple arms until they bleed and turned back to the humans skin colour it's almost as if it triggered something. The lain made him stay in human shape. He discovered that not much after he realized he was turning purple in the first place.

Though at the beginning he only needed a little scratch, now he needed to bleed so it would work. And it left scars yes but he was already ugly it didnt matter. No one cared anyway, no one would like him with or without scars so he didnt care. He hated himself aswell he didnt feel like wanting to take care of himself. He didnt care about himself.

,, keith " shiro turned the water off to place a towel around him as he got down besides him ,, damnit " he cursed as he took the bleeding arms in his hand to look at the wounds ,, come on ... "

The black paladin helped him up guiding him out the bathroom to sit on the bed, as he turned away to grab bandages again. He noticed shiro sigh when he saw the aid kit being almost empty.

Without words shiro returned to gently clean his arms and finally wrap them up in bandages.
,, why do you keep doing that ... I really wish you would stop .."

Keith only looked aside as shiro placed his hands onto his knees trying to make him face him. ,, keith .."

,, w-where you on a mission ?"

Little did shiro hesitate to answer but gave in when keith dared to face him eventually ,, yeah .. "

,, i-is.. lance alright "

He nodded and keith returned the nodd faintly as he pulled his hands back. ,, I.. want to leave "

,, what ?"

The red paladin looked the down besides himself
,, I.. only agreed to come here because.. because I thought I would die anyway and like this i could've died surrounded by the only family I've ever had... plus Cosmo would be safe " tears welled up in his eyes when he folded his hands tightly
,, I didnt mean to cause you trouble! " his voice became a bit louder as a tear rolled down ,, voltron is too important... I cant let you guys become distant toward each other... I'm s-sorry " he whiped over his cheek but when shiro wanted fo high him he held him back.

,, I dont want you to comfort me... or to treat my wounds and hold my hand so I could sleep.. i dont want any of you wasting time on me, that's not why I came back.. i just wanted it to end, I still do please shiro "

,, what are you asking?" The leader spoke in disbelief making keith look at him again.

,, dont check on me tomorrow .. dont let anyone check on me "

Shiro exhaled shaking his head
,, what are you going to do ?? No.. I wont leave you. Theres hope we can fix you I will talk to lance and the other we will all-"
,, I dont want to " he shock his head crying more tears ,, I'm tired of being myself.. I dont want to anymore I just want it to end look at me I'm not going to get better because I was never good... I. hate. myself, I always have I cant do anything right and I'm tired of ruining peoplea life I just want it to end I want it all to end I want.. " by the end he was sobbing and shiro refused to let himself get held away as he burried him in his arms swallowing his own tears down.

,, keith... you cant give up like this, it isnt you "

,, you dont know what I am.. "

Shiro cupped his face with a soft frown ,, I know that you are the strongest and most selfless person I've ever met, I was being selfish when you needed me.. I want to make it up to you I wont ever doubt you again and i wont ever give you up. Understand? We will get through this together. You're my brother.. I love you " the last 3 words had cause Keith's eyes to widen when shiro hugged him tightly, tears overfilling the youngers eyes as he closed them.

He wanted to believe him, because he loved him too he loved everyone in voltron and he wanted to believe that theres hope of getting better but he couldnt. Too many painful things have happened, too little hopeful things. He loved them but he felt like he wasnt worth getting loved in return.. he felt like he wasnt loved in return

So he cried because he couldnt believe in shiros words when he wanted to

,, pidge " lance called as he walked into the infirmary and curan turned to him at that.

,, she just left " he explained so lance was about to turn away again but the elder stepped forward ,, could you hold on a tic ? .. have you talked to keith yet? I've tried talking to allura..
Shiro seems really worried lately, hes says Keith is getting worse..."

The blue paladin looked aside with a slight frown ,, I.. I just dont know what to say to him, I cant believe this all happened to him it's all my fault and I cant face him with that.. everytime i looke at him i feel horrible "

Curan sighed as he stepped up to the younger to place a hand onto his shoulder ,, but how must he feel ?"

Lance was about to open his mouth again when a crushing noise interrupted their conversation and they both turned to the door in shock only shortly exchanging another glance before they hurried and rushed out of the door.

They ran to where the noise appeard only to be pulled down and apart from each other as galra soldiers appeard from around the corner at the entrance to the main room.

Lance was breathing hard but his eyes spotted allura on her knees across the room held down with her hands behind her back by other galra soldiers, she was glaring even more so when the other door opened.

All air escaped tue blue Paladin when they threw keith to the ground into the room and rushed shiro in afterward, who tried to struggle but a cloth had already been stopped around him mouth and he got puked Back again to be on his kness when he attemped to get to keith side.

The red Paladin hadnt moved much except for trembling as weak as he was when he tried to sit Back up.

,, well look at this "
A disgustingly familiar voice appeared making everyone turn toward the door where another 2 galra guards entered, stepping aside to reveal no other but lotor himself.

Grinning as he stopped with his hands fixed on his hips as he looked at everyone before his eyes landed on keith.
