Homework and hopes

Me and Kylie sat down on our beds to do our work.

Kylie had to sketch a picture of new the Statue of Liberty and i had to sketch a picture of New York skyline.

I started off my drawing a basic shape of the Statue of Liberty on the left side of the page.

After that i drawed somd big buildings including the Empire State Building.

Then i builded it up by putting more buildings infront over lapping each other to make it look realistic.

When i finally finsished my drawing i put it in our homework box outside our room.

Everyone had a homework box outside the room, on Friday the teachers would come around and collect your homework if it is not there they will knock on your door and ask you why.

When i was about to walk back in i heard laughing that got louder and louder.

Kylie was still doing her Statue of Liberty while i studied.

"Ok...144 divided by 12= 12 easy"

Then i didnt wanna study math so i studied english.

"Magma and ash explodes from the peak of the volcano causing minor damage to the village"

In english we are learning about volcanoes and earthquakes and hurricanes and tornadoes.

So i have to write sentences about them.

"Earthquakes are caused by two tectonic plates pushing against each other."

After studying i went to english.
When i reached my seat the teacher arrived, "Mr Croft"

"Ok class we have something important" he said.

"We are doing tests this month so do well and STUDY!!!" He explained.

I put my head in my hands, TESTS? Wow, i really HOPE ill get them right.

Im not the smartest person but im not the dumbest, im pretty good at english but not as good at maths.

I guess i have to just hope for the best.
