Emilia
The next day I was up and going early in the morning fine tuning my menu presentation, replying to emails, preparing breakfast for the house, feeding baby girl and doing three loads of laundry. It sounded hectic, but it was all manageable with a cup of my made from scratch nursing tea. Not only did it give me a boost energy to kickstart my day, but it also helped me consistently boost my milk supply. Although the recipe was in my latest book, I posted the ingredients on Instagram in a caption under a photo with Madison and I. No matter what, I was always down for sharing my tips and insights about pregnancy and motherhood with other moms and moms to be.
emiliaa: what's in my cup this morning? Made from scratch nursing tea to boost milk supply! Sometimes women struggle to a) produce milk or b) produce of sufficient amount. There's no shame! Baby girl has an appetite like her dad, so it's hard for me to keep up sometimes. However, this tea does the job!
¼ cup fenugreek seed
¼ cup dried blessed thistle
½ cup dried stinging nettle,
½ cup dried red raspberry leaf
½ cup dried lemon verbena

The boys finally started to drag themselves in around 11, making the kitchen their first stop. Aubrey didn't get to bed until late this morning due to being in the studio with 40 and some guys he had brought in to work with.
"Good morning beautiful," he stopped in the living room, where I was sitting on the couch folding up some of his clothes that were fresh out the dryer.
"Good morning. Breakfast is in the kitchen. Your plate is in the microwave," I informed him, catching myself staring at his shirtless body.
It was one thing when he was in shape, but when he got into "tour" shape he took looking sexy and cut to a whole different level. Thank you, Johnny.
He leaned over to kiss my cheek. I saw his eyes observing what I had going on. Madison was entertaining herself on her playtime mat. I had clothes folded along with couch sorted by socks, tops and underwear and two full baskets by feet, with my computer open on the coffee table making some last minute adjustments playing Disney music in the background. Maddie's favorite. My controlled chaos.
"Thank you. My bad for not getting up with her this morning. I-"
"It's fine. You were up late, so we let you sleep," I smiled back at him.
"You need some help? I know you have that meeting you need to prepare for today."
"No, I'm good babe."
He smiled, picked up Madison and followed the guys to the kitchen, where they didn't hesitate to start arguing about this person getting too much and this person not sharing. It never failed for them to act like children when it came to food.
Incoming Call:
Elena would like to Facetime
"Hey sissy," I answered the call on my Macbook as she popped up on the screen smiling big, "someone's happy this morning."
"It's a beautiful day," she turned the camera to show me she was outside in their huge backyard, "what are you up to?"
"Catching up on some laundry and getting my stuff for this meeting together," I said, "you never called me back yesterday heifer."
"I know, I know. We had a lot going on after the appointment. Gelo and I had some us time, got some stuff to add to the nursery and had a date night," she said, "but the baby's healthy and everything's perfect. I can't wait until the gender reveal Saturday."
