*Third Person POV*

Stan decided to text Kyle before they did a facetime so he could know when he should start or call. Most times he called without asking or checking in and Kyle would scold him for not telling him before that.

[sTaN]: Hey SBF! It's been forever since we've last talked and I was wondering if you wanted to call later on today.

A couple of minutes later...

[kYlE]: Oh hey Stan! Yeah, you can go ahead and call whenever you want to talk, I'm free atm.

Stan quickly viewed the message once it was sent to him, he smiled as he read the message in his head.

He was hesitant but clicked the FaceTime icon at the top of their messages. He waited for a couple of seconds before seeing Kyle's face on the screen.

(Regular text is Stan and Italics in Kyle)

"It's so good to see your face, it's been a while since we've talked over FaceTime. How have you been?".

"I know it's been so long since I've seen you! Anyways, I've been doing pretty good recently. How have you been? You seem stressed".

"Meh, there's been better days but I'm feeling good right now talking to you. So recently I went back to our hometown with Craig and it went sorta okay".

"What happened? Did something bad happen that caused it to only be okay? You're usually so happy when you visit even for just a few hours".

"Well, Craig and I decided that it was about the right time to come out to our parents. So we drove to the town and we went to Craig's house first. Once we arrived there everything seemed fine until we told them. Craig's family didn't approve of us being together especially his dad. My family approved but it hurts knowing that Craig no longer has that support outlet if he ever needed it".

"Hopefully over time they can come to terms with it, but if they can't you shouldn't feel down. I'm sure Craig doesn't mind just having you in his life. You're everything to him so I think you'll be fine".

"You're the only one who can assure me beside Craig. But enough of me, I wanna hear how you've been doing. How's school?".

"School's fine I guess, I only see Cartman at night when I'm studying since he works all day to make sure he can afford his part of the rent".

(Remember that this takes place before No Longer A Secret so Stan doesn't know yet, he just thinks their roommates)

"It's nice to hear that he is doing well and working hard to make sure his side of the deal is accomplished. You guys should totally come over and visit us! Once your studies go down or you're on vacation you should come visit. I'll pay for the airplane tickets and everything!"

"So eager, heh. But I'll consider it since I want to see you in person. My break is coming up soon so I'll let Cartman know about our plans of seeing each other".

"Well, let me know what he says when you talk to him. I should probably get going so that you can continue your studies. Make sure to work hard!"

"I will! Take care of yourself, I'll text you soon".

Stan and Kyle both waved at each other before hanging up the phone. Stan smiled as he felt way better than he was a couple of minutes ago.
