listen to the song 🥰
i don't know a lot about guns, i'm sorry

i woke up from my phone buzzing, seeing the title of my alarm saying "go learn to kick ass!" johnny was a pretty heavy sleeper, so he didn't hear the small ringing. i slowly take his arm off my waist and get out of the bed. today was the first day that greg will be teaching me.

once i was already dressed, jeans and a black shirt, i went downstairs and met greg at the door. "ready?" i roll my eyes and walk out. "no. after 18 years of living hell im totally not ready" i heard him chuckle and get in with me. "so, where are we going to practice?" "my old collage buddy owns a range a couple minutes away. he agreed to giving me the key so we can go in" i nod and smile.

i was finally able to do it. i've been thing about having harry home forever. but now, i'm able to actually do it. i heard a sigh from greg as we pulled out of the driveway and to the range. "what?" "i just feel kinda bad." he frowned as well as me. "i'm helping my cousins girlfriend learn to commit murder" i sighed shook my head.

"i'm sorry. it's just. you're the only one i knew that can do this. please don't tell johnny. he'll go crazy. please" he pulled into the parking lot and nodded. "i'm not. just promise me you won't tell him. i'll only practice with you for a week. then that's it." i nod and got out after him.

johnny got a key from under the mat and unlocked the door. "so original" he chuckled and walked in, me following like a little duck. "is that all you orlando's do?" "do what?" "chuckle. do y'all even laugh?" he smirked and walked to the gun case.

"we laugh. sometimes." he looked at the glass case and pointed at a gun. "this is what you'll be using. it's east for a beginner like you." i nod as he took it out. we walk to the back, where the range is. it was just like those coo movies, little stans, the papers posted up with holes in them. Greg went back and took off the paper, placing new ones.

"ok. you'll need to put these in because it's sorta loud." he handed me a bad of earplugs. i nod and take them out. "ok. first step. always make sure the gun is on safety mode. this won't let it fire if you accidentally press the trigger." he flipped the gun over to a little button that said 's' or 'f'. safe and fire.

"next. always aim your gun at the target so you don't shoot anything." he placed my hands on the gun and his on top, coming behind me. "hold it like this. never change this position. it's best." i nod and took note of it. "ok. aim at whatever you want, but aim close to the neck, heart or chest, and of course the head." i point the gun towards the chest and took a deep breathe. greg flipped to the 'f' mode and placed my finger on the trigger.

"prepare to get pushed back a little. and take your time. no rush." about 5 seconds of making sure i was on point with what i wanted, i pulled the trigger. i did get pushed back into greg's chest, but it wasn't as bad as i thought. we losers the gun and looked at my 'amazing' work. there was a bullet hole at the top left shoulder. "work on your aim." i turn around and stick my tongue out at him.

he stepped away and went to his little section, and began shooting as well. his aim was better. he had hit the paper in the head. i scoffed and turned back to my paper.

show off.

after a while, i was soon able to hit the target in the heart, and neck. i wasn't close to the head, as i just hit the cheek. i felt a tap on my shoulder and i turned around, causing greg to step back. "gun on the target. safety mode" my eyes widen and i look down at the gun which was pointed at out feet. i switch on the mode and place it down. "it's about time we should leave. everyone will be waking up soon"

i nod and watched him close the gun back up, and lock it. greg was starting to become a big brother to me. the brother i never had.
