Destiny had a strange feeling someone was watching her. She opened her eyes and found herself staring into Josh's liquid brown ones. "Hi", he said softly.

"Hi", Destiny answered back. She pushed slightly away from him and stretched, feeling her muscles elongate. She sighed and lay back, asking Josh, "What time is it?"

He shrugged and said, "About five I'd guess."

"We slept the day away?" Destiny said, wonder in her voice.

"Well, it was an emotionally draining morning. I guess we needed it."

Destiny's stomach gave a loud gurgling sound. She put her hands over her middle and looked sheepishly at Josh.

"I would say I'm hungry now."

"Me too. You want to go out or down to the restaurant? Or we could just stay in. Personally, I vote for staying in."

"Suits me, but I've got to get out of these clothes."

Josh raised his brows and grinned. "I thought you wanted to eat", he said playfully.

Destiny blushed lightly and slapped Josh on the arm. "Just stop. Besides, you wouldn't want me passing out from hunger at a delicate moment, would you?"

"I would not. You putting on pj's?"

"Yes", Destiny reluctantly got up from the bed and made her way to her own bedroom. She stripped off her light tee and changed into another one. She changed her pants and slipped bunny slippers on her feet. She padded back to Josh's bedroom and climbed in beside him.

While she had been gone, Josh had removed his shirt and unbuttoned the top button on his jeans. He was barefoot and propped up against the headboard of the bed using the bed pillows for cushion.

As he flipped through the TV channels looking for something they both would enjoy he asked, "What would you like?"

Destiny didn't have to think long and she and Josh said at the same time, "Chinese." Destiny grinned and said, "We are perfectly in sync." Josh replied, "Scary isn't it?"

He reached for the phone. The front desk staff was happy to direct him to a good restaurant, where he ordered two meals exactly alike. Destiny smiled and nodded at his choices.

He hung up the phone and placed it back on the bedside table. Then he began flipping channels again. Destiny reached out and took Josh's hand. He stopped channel surfing and looked at her.

"We're okay, aren't we?" she asked him. He leaned over and kissed her gently. He nibbled her lower lip softly and she sighed. "We are fine. Nothing is wrong, Destiny. There isn't anything we can't get around. I love you, and whatever the issue, we'll work it out."

Destiny looked into Josh's angelic face and sighed. She could only hope he was right. There was a loud knock on the door and Josh got up from the bed. "That was quick" he said as he walked out the bedroom door.

Josh went to the door and put his hand on the knob. "Who is it?" he called. There was a small silence and then, "Delivery." Josh knew it couldn't be the food, not this quick. "What is it?" he called. "I don't know, sir, I just deliver the packages."

Josh thought a moment. "Leave it by the door" he called. "As you like sir" and Josh heard a rustling as the delivery man set down the package. He then left and Josh took a deep breath. He opened the door and looked down. A non-descript brown box sat there addressed to him. He gingerly prodded the box with his foot.

He seemed to be satisfied at last and he picked up the box and carried it inside, kicking the door shut behind him. "Des" he called. She hurried in and stopped short when she saw the box he was carrying.
