Destiny took Josh around the bar, starting with the skulls and bones that adorned the brick walls. She pointed out the cages which were about two feet off the ground and had benches inside them for patrons to sit. She took Josh to see the amazing library and the hidden door there to the bathrooms.
Josh was enjoying himself and every now and again he caught a glimpse of one of the guys. They appeared to be having a ball, so he put them out of his mind for the time being. Destiny led Josh up some tightly compacted stairs to the second level. There were two bars here, a dance floor, which was already being put to good use, and more cages. Josh looked around the spacious room and took special notice of the artwork.
The art depicted demons, humans in soul anguish, and scantily clad female demons. Some of it disturbed him, though he couldn't say why. He supposed it added to the bar's charm. Destiny noted he was almost done with his drink and asked him if he wanted another. He said yes and Destiny went to the bar. Josh was not unaware of the eyes that followed her.
He could freely admit that he was jealous as hell of Destiny. It was nice to know that she was jealous of him too. And Jake seemed to be getting a little too friendly as of late. Josh was going to have to reel in his jealously or have a discussion with his brother. He did not relish a conversation with his twin.
Destiny returned with their drinks and led the way to an empty cage. This particular one was only about a foot and a half above the floor and Josh held the drinks as Destiny hauled herself into it. She took a seat and held the drinks for Josh. He pulled himself up and sat down heavily beside her.
In the middle of the cage there was a stone table. Josh put down his drink and looked around. It was the first time he had to do so and he noticed a good many patrons in Gothic and Victorian attire.
"Is it always this way? Everyone comes in costume? Well, almost everyone."
Destiny looked around herself. Josh was correct, there were a lot of patrons in period dress. She shrugged. "Sometimes. It's only half past eleven, plenty of time to see some even wilder things. But we need to leave by two, you have a performance tomorrow don't forget."
He leaned in and nuzzled her neck. "I believe there was a punishment mentioned..."
She laughed. At that moment everything about Josh Kiszka screamed sex. She found his warm, soft lips with just a hint of teeth very inviting. Josh kissed her back and his hand slowly reached for her breast. She wanted to admonish him, but she was too far gone to care.
Suddenly a voice said, "Jesus! Get a room!" Jake, Sam, and Danny laughed. Josh sat up slowly and found himself eye-to-eye with his twin.
"I swear you watch me , Jake. Have you got spies?"
Jake grinned. "No. And, I wouldn't spy on you if I did. You're boring most of the time."
Josh playfully slapped his shoulder. "So what do you need? And why are you up here? We left you on the first level."
"What, is there an age limit to this floor? Don't forget, we're the same age."
"Nope. I'm five minutes older than you," Josh said, grinning.
"Yeah, five freakin' minutes. Big deal," Jake grumbled.
"You can't live that down, it's a stone cold fact." Josh grinned even wider. Behind Jake, Sam and Danny were beginning to fidget.
Danny said, "Come on, Jake, you and Josh can take the piss outta each other later. Miss Chandra's ladies are waiting."
Destiny looked around Josh. She leveled her gaze at Danny. "You have a girlfriend, all of you do."
